Holiday like a rock-star, in Salcombe this summer!

Sir Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster caused something of a stir in Salcombe last weekend when they arrived in the beautiful town for a spot of relaxation, before the newly-knighted singer’s Plymouth show.

Penny posted this photo on her Instagram account and it seems fair to say the couple were enjoying the recent heatwave…

The great news is, you don’t need to be a rock-star to enjoy the high-life in picturesque Salcombe or, as Penny claims, one of the most beautiful spots in the world. The popular holiday town, just 4 miles from our base in South Devon, is now home to 33 of our brilliant holiday cottages and in the last two months alone we’ve added five more.

For example, while a room in a top Salcombe hotel may cost as much as £400 per night in August, the same amount can provide summer holiday accommodation for up to 10 people per night, in the delightfully refurbished 2 Island Terrace (that’s just £80 per room!). In the heart of the town, this stylish property offers luxurious accommodation with plenty of living space for larger families and groups.

Another new addition, offering excellent family accommodation at the top of the town, is 5 bedroom property Tredarloe. A week in August works out at just £48 per room, per night, and provides sumptuous accommodation in a peaceful spot within easy reach of Salcombe town centre. Currently offering 20% off until the end of July, Tredarloe is available for as little as £841 per week.

For smaller groups, newly aquired Ingledene sleeps 6 and is located on a quiet lane, just a stone’s throw from popular Island Street. The comfortable family home is available for £58 per night, per room – based on a 7 night stay in August.
