Dart Music Fest: Back for 2018

Dart Music Festival, 11th – 13th May

It’s a three-day music festival attracting performers in their hundreds to more than twenty venues across the iconic maritime town of Dartmouth.

This May, the Dart Music Festival returns for its 21st year and the line-up is as exciting as ever, with more music than you could shake your hips at. People from far and wide flock to this historic riverside town to enjoy anything from smooth-lipped jazz and barnstorming folk to rustic acoustic and sundown reggae.

K.O.G. & The Zongo Brigade, Bigfeat, The Harry Browns, the Alex Hart Band, Boxwood and Brass, Ethyrfield, Ben Carr, The Rin Tins, Melissa Bel, Elles Bailey, Double Denim, Esperanto…just a mouth-watering taste of some of the exciting acts heading to Dartmouth next month.

K.O.G & The Zongo Brigade, all set to steal Saturday’s main stage at this year’s Dart Music Festival with their infectious mix of afrobeat, soul, funk and reggae from Ghana via Sheffield’s ‘steel city’.

Latest Festival News…. “Local lad, Connor Everitt is a singer-songwriter who released his debut single in August 2017. It’s been played a few times on BBC Introducing Cornwall and Connor also boasts almost 5000 subscribers on YouTube. You can check out his acoustic sets at The Anchorstone Café on Saturday and in the Harbour Bar at The Royal Castle Hotel on Sunday.”

Other stage venues include; the spectacular Bayard’s Cove Fort, The Flavel Arts Centre, The Old Market Square and the main stage on Royal Avenue Gardens.
