Poldark’s Cornwall

Cornwall takes centre stage in the BBC’s new drama, Poldark, bringing to life Winston Graham’s popular saga. The series follows the turbulent life of Ross Poldark, who returns from the American War of Independence to find his sweetheart betrothed to his cousin, his father dead and his inherited land and mines in ruins.

Filmed across the county, each episode takes full advantage of the region’s spectacular scenery and is enough to whet anyone’s appetite for a Cornish adventure.
