Along a quiet leafy lane near the hamlet of Prideaux, merely 15 minutes’ walk from the famous Eden Project, is Number 3 Prideaux Cottages, a spacious, well-equipped family home with large beautiful gardens and surrounded by pretty Cornish countryside. In addition to an abundance of outside space, there is also a bright and sunny conservatory, a wood burner and central heating, making the house perfect for all weather. The popular and picturesque fishing port of Fowey is only a short drive away, where you can enjoy an array of delightful pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops, and for a great family day out, explore one of the many easily accessible beaches along the North and South Cornish coastline.

Large living/dining room with woodburner, large sofa, two armchairs, flat screen TV, DVD player, dining table to seat eight and a selection of books, games and DVDs. Sunny conservatory with sofa, two armchairs, rocking chair and access to back garden. Kitchen with Rangemaster (gas hobs and electric oven/grill), microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Separate utility room with washing machine, dryer, fridge and access to back garden. Small shower room with shower cubicle, WC and hand basin. Open tread stairs up to first floor. Master bedroom with 5ft king size double bed, en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, WC and basin. Double bedroom with 5ft king size bed and wall-mounted flat screen TV. Twin bedroom with two 3ft single beds. Bunk bedroom with 3ft single bunks and 2ft 6in child’s bed. Family bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and hand basin.

Large rear garden and patio area with table, chairs and swing seat. Pretty front garden with picnic bench.  The garden is not fully enclosed for pets.

Ample parking for 4 cars along private, gated driveway. Please note: The owner stores their boat on the drive all year round.

  • Local Facilities: Co-op shop at St Blazey, 2 miles. Pub and beach (dog friendly all year) at Par, approximately 10 minutes drive (2 miles). Beach, pub and restaurant at Polkerris, 4 miles. Eden Project 1.5 miles (15 minutes via walking route). Pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops at Fowey, 6 miles. St Austell with all facilities, 5.5 miles.

fantastic stay in this lovely cottage. Extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. One of the nicest cottages I have stayed in, a real home from home. Only a short drive to a lovely dog friendly beach and many attractions close by. The Eden Project was well worth a visit as was the Lost Gardens of Heligan. The only down side was that the garden was not enclosed so my 2 spaniels had a great time having a little explore on the first day. The gate latch was broken and the garden is surrounded by a very low wall which my dogs had no problem jumping over. Apart from this I cannot fault this lovely spacious cottage and will gladly return

Superbly equipped, could not be bettered. Great for children , lots of toys to play with indoors and outside. A safe enclosed garden.

Very spacious, plenty of room for children to play inside and out. All the equipment we could want. Lovely walks with a dog. In spite of a very wet week,found plenty to do nearby.
