A large and stylish property set just back from Fore Street in the very heart of Salcombe. Guests have the rare luxury of being just a short walk to all the towns’ pubs, restaurants and shops whilst still also enjoying peace and quiet. The property is perfectly setup for a large family or groups of couples with the bedrooms separated far apart, multiple bathrooms, two outdoor areas, two reception rooms and a parking space. 

Entrance to hall leading to bedroom 2 (basement room) with super king size bed and fitted wardrobe and skylight. Adjacent shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and sink.

First floor: Sitting room with sofa, 2 armchairs, TV (with full SKY package including sports and movies). Kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and door to patio area. Lounge with 3 sofas, electric fire, dining table to seat 8-10 and French doors to balcony overlooking courtyard. Master bedroom (located through lounge) with king size bed, wardrobe and en suite bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC.

Second floor: Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Bedroom 4 with bunk beds. Family bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC.

Enclosed patio area with table and chairs and barbecue. Steps from here up to further large decked terrace with glimpses of the estuary.

Designated parking for ONE car in courtyard at front of property.

Otherwise, ample no restriction on road parking at the top of town just 5-10 minutes’ walk from the property.

  • Local facilities: Pubs, shops and restaurants all within a very short walk. Ferry to beach across the estuary 200 yards. Co-op shop 400 yards. Kingsbridge with supermarkets and all other facilities 6 miles.

We have had the pleasure of staying at the cottage for the last few years and it's always a delight. The cottage is spotless, beautifully furnished and the kitchen is stocked with all the extras (tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid) which is a lovely touch and makes packing easier! The location is perfect, right in the middle of town with a parking space and the terrace upstairs is a real sun trap. We will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone!

The property was lovely and it was great having the shops and pubs right on the doorstep. Need to be a confident driver to access the parking area though, especially if you have a large car

Yes. The car parking was not easy particularly backing out onto Fore Street. The property was particularly well appointed and with taste.

Perfect for a Salcombe holiday, the only criticism being that the decking needs a bit of repair.

Beautiful home well furnished tasteful decor and so centrally located - we didn't need a car as everything was accessible by foot or ferry.

The cottage was a fantastic find, right in the heart of Salcombe with everything in walking distance but tucked away from the noise. The property is really well presented and is maintained and equipped to a high standard. We had great weather so made full use of the terraces and gas bbq. Covering three levels our family had plenty of space to spread out over with a fabulous lounge and dining area to come together again for dinner and games.
