A former piggery, PigLet is now a beautifully renovated, self-contained holiday home
So much light floods into the lounge from the two patio doors.
The view of the kitchen from the lounge.
The bedroom has a king size bed.
The shower room looks very modern & stylish and has a corner shower cubicle.
The owners has added some charming touches.

I love the piglet, locally made from driftwood!

The bedroom is beautifully furnished and gets plenty of light.

Piglet is such a charming property, a real gem.
The sofa in the lounge converts into a bed for the third person staying.
The grey tiles compliments the colour scheme running through Piglet.
The beautiful wooden floors are throughout the property.
The decking has been created around the granite 'coffee table'. A little piece of local history, right there on your terrace, as the stone was mined from the Carn Marth Quarry.
What wonderful, peaceful views of the countryside. Keep an eye for the resident fox who pads though the fields at suppertime!
Horses are stabled on the land around Piglet, so you may wake up one morning to see them looking at you over the fence!
The owner, Tom, lives onsite, in the house on the left. He won't intrude but he's there if you need him, and is also a font of knowledge on local history.
Piglet looks so inviting.
The entrance to Carnleigh, home to PigLet. There's a kissing gate directly behind us. That's the way up to Carn Marth itself, one of the highest points in Cornwall.
On the way, you'll see holes in the quarry walls - made by the quarrymen testing new drill bits, and also teaching their apprentices how to drill! Once made, of course, they would have been filled with dynamite and used to blast the rock.
From the summit, you can see all the way across to the north coast! St Agnes Beacon is to the right, and the Atlantic sea to the left!
And all the way to Falmouth on the south coast!
The old quarry at the summit of Carn Marth, 235 metres above sea level! Perfect place for a cool swim or a picnic, taking in the view.

Truro is our main shopping centre, perfect for all shops, cafes and restaurants.
The Eden Project is a must for Cornish visitors!
St Michael's Mount at Marazion - walk across the causeway or take the water taxi across to the castle and gardens.
Gyllyngvase Beach in Falmouth. Hire a surfboard or have lunch-with-a-view at the Gylly Beach Cafe.
An atmospheric Jamaica Inn on Bodmin Moor! Visit for lunch and a wander around the Smuggler's museum.
The Maritme Museum is Falmouth is always an afternoon well-spent!
St Ives, known to all, is doable within an hour by car.
Beautiful Perranporth Beach is just 10 miles away and is dog friendly all year.
Try Stithians Lake for water sports. Just 15 minutes away by car.

This area is quite a sun-trap so the owners provide a parasol for those lazy, summer days.
