A spacious ground floor apartment with outside pool and stunning views across the beach and out to sea, 2 Thurlestone Rock is part of an exclusive development in a prime location on the South West Coast Path between  the pretty villages of Thurlestone and Hope Cove. The apartment is bright, comfortable and well equipped and offers a perfect getaway for couples, family and friends to relax or explore the beautiful South Hams at any time of the year.

From the main communal entrance, three steps lead down to No 2:  Large hallway, Lounge with patio doors opening out to the private terrace with panoramic views of the sea, leather sofas and armchair, flat screen TV and DVD player, ipod dock, sideboard with books and games, dining area to seat six. The lounge and all bedrooms are fitted with USB charging sockets. Spacious kitchen with breakfast table and stools, electric oven and grill, gas hob, microwave/combi oven, built in larder fridge and freezer, dishwasher. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Master bedroom with 5ft king size bed and sea views, built in wardrobes, TV with freeview, patio door to the terrace. En suite bathroom with bath and shower over, basin, heated towel rail, shaver socket and WC.  Bedroom 2: Twin 3ft beds with built in wardrobe. Bedroom 3: Twin 3ft beds with small wardrobe. Family bathroom with bath and hand held shower over. Separate walk-in shower cubicle, vanity unit and basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Patio doors from lounge lead to the private terrace area, with outside table and chairs and superb sea views. 
Heated outdoor swimming pool (open from Spring Bank Holiday -3rd week of September) with terrace and barbecue area. The use of the pool is shared between the cottages and apartments situated next to the pool. Lower private sun deck with steps leading to beach.

One designated car space and visitor parking.

  • Town: Kingsbridge 5 miles, Salcombe 5 miles

As previously mentioned no 2 is a lovely apartment. we have been coming down to the apartments every years for the last 7 years, staying in no 7 and no 11. we will definitely choose no 2 again as we found it much more comfortable. The card and milk left by the owners is a very nice touch.

Very enjoyable. Ideal family holiday accommodation. The little ones loved being so near to the beach and the pool was a real bonus. Would stay again.

We had a great stay as usual with family and grand-kids. Only issue we had was that we had to leave early (on Wed 5th) due to our daughter's admission to hospital in Leeds. (Especially as a result of her illness and daily updates we needed to use the house phone on a number of occasions. If there are any charges for this, please let us know. We hope to book at least 1 week again next year - and please pass on our thanks for the apartment to the Chesterton's - as we did not get chance to leave a comment in the visitors book.
