3 The Old Boatyard is a sleek and contemporary new build with fabulous far-reaching estuary views. Conveniently situated just a short stroll from the heart of pretty Appledore, this stunning house has been finished to the highest specification, evident through all the mod-cons available in the spacious kitchen diner which enjoys direct access to the sunny garden via bi-folding doors. There is also a chic sitting room with adjoining patio, perfect for taking in the superb views.   The split level accommodation, arranged over 4 floors allows a great deal of flexability with 3 very well-appointed bedrooms and two stylish bathrooms complete with underfloor heating.  The outside space enjoys a first floor terrace, a ground floor patio area with plenty of outside furniture including a comfortable rattan sofa. The addition of a large fully enclosed lawn creates a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the evening sun. 

Appledore is a quirky old fishing village, which oozes history and charm with its narrow and colourful winding streets. It lies upon the River Torridge and the passenger ferry runs regularly to take visitors to the opposite village of Instow with its sheltered stretch of sandy beach and many other activities for a day out. Westward Ho! beach is within walking distance of the cottage and is a great place to visit through the whole year. Appledore itself offers a plethora of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms including the luxury Seagate Hotel, and the popular Beaver Inn. Many of the nearby pubs also have live music nights throughout the year which prove a great evening out.  The ancient town of Bideford is also within easy reach and is home to boutique shops and cafes and has a regular ferry to Lundy Island.

Upstairs to master bedroom with 5ft king-size bed, full height doors/windows enjoying the stunning views and Juliet balcony with glass balustrading. Ensuite bathroom with under floor heating, large walk in shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Fantastic property with everything you could ever need. Lovely views of the estuary from all the rear facing rooms. We would stay here again without a second thought...Fingers crossed the grass cuttings have gone.. 10/10

Loved our stay and the property. Only thing we would of changed would of been North facing garden but obviously out of everyone's control!
