7 The Moorings. Wonderful views both up and down the estuary can be enjoyed from the lounge and private balcony as well as the bedrooms of this totally refurbished, luxury first floor apartment. The owner has created a tasteful and relaxing environment using contemporary furnishings and fitted a new kitchen and bathrooms. The balcony is furnished with wooden table and chairs and overlooks the managed communal gardens and estuary, providing a perfect location from where guests can watch and enjoy the comings and goings of boats on this beautiful stretch of water.
The Moorings is an impressive development situated on the water’s edge of the beautiful Kingsbridge/Salcombe estuary and occupies probably the best situation in Kingsbridge. Set in attractive, shared, landscaped and enclosed gardens alongside the estuary, with occasional seating, although not suitable for children’s games, they provide an idyllic spot to appreciate the views. All the apartments enjoy these superb views from most of their rooms, balconies and/or terraces with vistas down towards Salcombe, across to the wooded banks and meadows on the opposite side and upstream to the town itself. The town, a short walk, approximately one third of a mile on the level along the embankment, has a wide range of interesting shops, restaurants, pubs, two major supermarkets and a fine leisure centre. Electric gates secure the entrance to The Moorings and there are designated parking spaces for each apartment and further visitor parking. Good sandy beaches within 5 miles.

Master bedroom with views of the estuary, 4ft 6in double bed, fitted wardrobe and LCD TV. En-suite bathroom with bath, shower over, hand basin, WC, shaver socket and heated towel rail. Twin bedroom with estuary views, two 3ft single beds and fitted wardrobe. Family bathroom with bath, shower over, hand basin, WC, shaver socket and heated towel rail.

This is our second visit to this apartment. The first was in August and this time in January. It is equally lovely in winter as well as summer. The view is just fabulous and the apartment has everything we need. Kingsbridge is a lovely town and a good base for exploring the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the outlook and saw many interesting birds. Not busy on the estuary but plenty to see. We like this area and were on old territory with lovely accommodation.

We had a fantastic stay. I came with elderly parents and it was perfect for us as my mom struggles to get about. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with a great view. Would book again
The apartment was excellent as was the man from your office who assisted with a small problem with the bed. We look forward to another break with you in the near future when we can decide what area to go to next.
Having stayed at 7 the moorings before I didn't feel the need to look for an alternative property. Nevertheless, web site very easy to use
We stayed as a foursome at 7 the Moorings and found it very comfortable. Kingsbridge is a great central location with a pub within 5 minutes walk which does great food, and shops a short drive away. The apartment has lovely views over the estuary and every evening was spent watching the sun go down. Would definitely go back.
Thank-you for a wonderful stay. The property has fantastic views from all rooms. A perfect place to watch the world go by on the river. Kingsbridge is a fantastic base to explore the South Hams from. Whatever the season.
This delightful apartment has stunning views of the Estuary, and is an easy stroll into Kingsbridge, my favourite town in the South Hams. It's very comfortably furnished with a substantial sofa, and good beds, which is so important to a good holiday. An excellent choice for an adult-only group.
We loved our week away and look forward to returning to this beautifully situated and well equipped property . It had been a substitution for Southview at Slapton at no additional cost.
It has become fundamental to have WiFi in any holiday property inb 2013 and that was the only thing missing in this property. However, it did not spoil a great holiday in a very well furnished and comfortable apartment
