July 2018

See above comments regarding rubbish collection. We were disappointed to have to worry about all this when we were on holiday.

July 2018

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Excellent facilities. Lovely to stay at the seafront for the first time. Weather was very hot, and the windows at the cottage made it light and airy. Thank you.

June 2018

The cottage was beautifully presented and tastefully decorated; it was also very comfortable . So there were many pluses . The outside space was very nice and it was great being so close to the beach and being lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves lapping on the shore . However , on the negative side , we did feel that not having a washing machine was a great disadvantage - we managed , but a family of 4 would struggle. In addition - the duvets were far too warm for the summer season . It might be a good idea to supply summer quilts ( after all - the are not a great expense !) and allow people to have the choice to change them - if the thick winter quilt is not suitable or desirable. The other small niggle is that the fridge is so small that it is very hard to get everything you need from a shop for a few days ( as Beesands is quite a way from the nearest supermarket) . We really enjoyed our holiday - loved the location ( which we have walked through on many occasions - but never stayed at , until now) Loved eating out at the Cricket Inn and Britannia at the beach - both extremely good and so convenient ! WE would definitely consider returning - even despite the niggles - but I'll bring summer quilts next time - unless they are provided. ( ps The loo seat came unstuck on the second day - hope this was fixed as it made the experience a somewhat fraught one - especially in the night!!)

Yes but only because we have relatives in the area who let us use their washing machine, I would not have wanted to spend a week finding a laundrette & having to use it.
