The lovely 18th century Beach Cottage is set back just a few yards from the sandy beach at East Looe, the notable Banjo Pier and just a short stroll from all the amenities this bustling seaside fishing port has to offer. Located in a sunny position, the cottage has spacious reception rooms with many period features retained, three good sized bedrooms with a master en-suite, gas central heating as well as the benefit of an allocated parking space 25 yards from the property. Beach Cottage provides a great holiday destination, offering superior seaside accommodation in a beautiful area with plenty to keep the family entertained.

Light and airy sitting room with feature fireplace, two sofas, 32” TV, video and Sky digital. Modern kitchen/diner with ceramic hob, oven, fridge with ice box, microwave, washing machine, dryer and dining table to seat six. Stairs up to the first floor. Double bedroom with 5ft king size bed, flatscreen TV, DVD player and en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, wash hand basin and WC. 2 x twin bedrooms, both with two 2ft 6in single beds. Family shower room with shower cubicle, wash hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Designated parking space for one car almost opposite the cottage in seafront car park.

Public parking available in local car parks in East and West Looe (fees apply).  

  • Included: Bed linen, towels (No beach towels are provided so guests are requested to bring their own), electricity and central heating (gas).
  • Pets: 1 - 2 dogs permitted (pets restricted to the downstairs area only) at an additional charge of £25.00 per pet, per week.
  • Telephone: No telephone provided. Mobile reception mixed.
  • Local Facilities: Beach 50 yards.Other south and north coast beaches easily accessible by car. Shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants all in Looe. Polperro 4 miles. Plymouth 21 miles. Truro 29 miles.

We have been in self catering and bed and breakfast for 30 years and know how difficult it can be at sometimes to get everything done. Items get used, broken, damaged etc., but I can honestly say, we had a fabulous stay in Looe, the cottages was what I expected. Loved every minute and we shall be coming back. The efficiency of the booking, the notification of directions, key situation, and especially receiving this email today. If I had known prior to the booking I would have tried to book an extra week, as the line up for the music festival looked great. Thank you so much.

Val the owner popped in to make sure all was well, the standard of some of the equipment needed to be replaced the saucepans in the kitchen, the remote battery's in the satellite sky remote didn't work, light bulb in the lounge was blown and I told Val the owner that the loo seat fittings were broken, she said she was going to replace it. If I owned a holiday cottage I would have a check list of things to see if they still worked before the cottage was let again in the following season. Perhaps Toad Hall could suggest that?

This cottage is excellent, clean well equipped and a great location. We love Looe and have been holidaying here for over 40 years. I would defiantly book this cottage again. Great value for money but would have liked a dish washer.
