Built-in electric oven and grill, gas hob, microwave,  two large larder fridges and freezers. Dining area to seat 10. Conservatory with huge sofas and patio doors leading to the terrace and lawn. Lounge with wood burner, two sofas and two armchairs, french windows to the rear garden. Second sitting room / TV room with large Smart TV/DVD, huge sofa and fluffy bean bags, bookcase  with books and games and french doors to back garden. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Family shower room with shower cubicle, basin, WC and heated towel rail. First floor: Master bedroom with superking size bed, built in wardrobes, sea and church views, en suite bathroom with bath and shower over, heated towel rail, basin and WC. Bedroom 2 with superking size bed, church views, dressing table and built in wardrobes, en suite shower room with shower cubicle, basin, WC and towel rail. Bedroom 3: Twin3ft single beds and wardrobe. Hello Good to have the garden furniture out this time, (we went last year) although no cushions - not sure where they were? First problem was no decent big pan. It's for a large number of people but kitchen equipment does to really match up. I had to cook pasta in three separate saucepans and it ended up sticking together. Not a good start to the holiday. All knives are blunt. Does not have large serving bowls for salad and vegetables etc. Needed more drinking glasses. Plus, some cups and saucers would be nice. One doesn't always want a huge mug of beverage. The heating system was very difficult to manage so too cold on first evenings and then too hot later on. This is all meant as constructive criticism as all in all it's one of the best cottages we've stayed in. I think the owner needs to have a good look at the kitchen equipment level and maybe go shopping for a few things. I have been an owner myself with Helpful Holidays and they had an extensive equipment list. Do Toad Hall do the same? Also, something like a simple one hour override on the heating system would be good. Regards Martin

We had an amazing week in Thurlestone. Accommodation was beautiful and it met all our expectations and dreams. The house was simply stunning. It was so much more spacious than we had thought, and it was obvious that every single room had been done up with lots of care and attention to detail. It was decorated beautifully and had every accessory that we needed! We really couldn't have asked for more! As annual visitors to Devon we would definitely book Church Farmhouse again. Please pass on our thanks to the owners for letting us share their spectacular holiday home - they are very lucky to own such an amazing property
