Description

Double Gates is a large and spacious detached house located in Hope Cove. The property has a large enclosed garden which is safe and secure for children and dogs, ample parking and great views. The lounge, snug and conservatory all ensure there is plenty of space for all the family. The property itself is within a short distance to the beaches, pub, café and shop which are all located in the centre of the village. 

Entrance to ground floor: Entrance hall with adjoining WC.  Snug with sofa and TV (for DVDs only). Kitchen with cooker and hobs, large fridge, dishwasher, microwave, breakfast/dining table to seat 6 and adjoining conservatory with table to seat 4. Lounge with large L-shaped sofa, two armchairs and TV. Master bedroom with king size bed and en suite bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Lower ground floor: Bedroom 2 with twin beds and sink. Bedroom 3 with twin beds and sink. Family bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, large freezer and sink. First floor: Bedroom 4 with double bed and views towards the sea and adjoining private bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC.

Large enclosed patio and garden with table and chairs and barbecue. Additional small patio and lawn area with bench and side table.

For 2 or 3 cars on private drive.

Included:  Bed linen (no towels), electricity and oil central heating. Travel cot, high chair and 2  stair gates.  

Pets: One dog allowed (£25.00 per dog per week)

Yes we had a lovely holiday the only slight drawback was the rather narrow entrance into the drive which made reversing out onto the narrow lane a bit challenging and not for the faint hearted.

We loved this house. The split level bedroom accommodation gave all parts of our family their own space. As the older generation, we enjoyed the upper space which felt like a 'granny flat'. Superb gardens tastefully planted with amazing views and a glimpse of the sea. A bonus was having blue tits feeding their young in the nest box and house Martin's nesting in the eaves. We had a wonderful week in this lovely house.
