Christine very helpful with the tv problem! Enjoyed our stay very much although the narrow roads are scary! I wish we had known about the main Slapton road being closed.
We had a fantastic stay at the cottage, the local beach was great and the local village of Kingsbridge was also very pretty and had plenty of amenities . The only minor issues we had was that it was very remote and you had to drive quite far to get to the larger towns. There was also a lot of lanes which made our car journeys unpleasant on times as they were very busy and time consuming. Overall though we had a lovely holiday and the positives far outweighed the negatives
Yes, indeed. All the books and magazines were a bonus, as, too, the decent lighting in the sitting room for reading in the evenings.
Fantastic place to stay. Excellent accommodation and perfect mix of space and style.
Yes we did. Very friendly neighbours with local children calling for our grandchildren to go out to play with them. They loved this. It was nice to find a bottle of wine left in the fridge for us together with a small bottle of milk, with teabags and biscuits on the side. Especially good if you arrived without any supplies........???? Location well within reach of many beaches which was good considering the wonderful weather we had.
Why did you have to ask to put heating on never had this in any other property I've stayed in. Lovely to have milk biscuits and wine on arrival Very nice cottage everything you need is there just wish it was closer to shop or beach.
Thank you for letting us stay in fuchsia cottage we had a brilliant stay. The house was such a wonderful family home with everything we needed. So cosy and yet bright and fresh. We travelled far and wide walking and the beaches were all beautiful. We enjoyed coming home after our day of adventures, to your lovely house. There were six of us but had no problem with the space or rooms to relax in. Kingsbridge on the bus was fun and a walk to the cricket inn for a lovely cold drink in the sunshine. Soar mill cove beach was a wonderful walk along the coast path. We had the best week and have now moved onto lizard point for our next week. Thankyou again for a lovely stay !
Beautiful, homely cottage which was spotless and well equipped. Had a fab family break which included a trip on the steam train from Totnes to Buckfastleigh. Plenty of trips to the beach and shopping in Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. We plan to visit Beeson again next year :)
We had a lovely relaxing week and we look forward to coming back at some time in the near future!
Lovely house, well equipped with everything needed for a great holiday. Close to lovely quiet beach, great fish
The cottage was perfect. It was very comfortable and had a very pleasant conservatory where we had our evening aperitifs!! There were three generations and we had plenty of room for a holiday and excellent cooking facilities. The neighbours children were delightful and welcomed our grand-daughter into their group Beautiful part of the country and Beesands is totally unspoilt with excellent fish and chips. On our final evening we sat by the rocks enjoying them. Would love to return sometime
