Set in the historic, traffic free, cobbled streets of East Looe, just seconds from the popular beach and the bustling colourful harbour, is this delightful, period fisherman’s cottage. Built in 1780, Jemima Cottage is set over three floors is both traditional with modern fittings to create a perfect and attractive bolt hole for two. There are a selection of excellent restaurants and pubs all within a leisurely stroll. Furthermore, there are some lovely walks in the surrounding countryside and the South West Coastal path, which runs through Looe and takes you along some breathtaking coastline. The nearby quintessential Cornish fishing village of Polperro is also well worth a visit. So leave your worries behind and visit Jemima Cottage to relax and recharge your batteries, you won’t be disappointed.

This was a great quirky little cottage in the centre of Looe - very clean and tidy and ideal for a couple. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! September 2016

 

 

Kitchen/diner with Bosch Gourmet combination oven/microwave, ceramic hob, fridge with ice box, fireplace inset with an electric burner, dining table to seat four and a blue tooth interactive speaker system. Steep stairs to the first floor attractive living room with armchair, two seater sofa, Internet TV with Freeview, on-demand channels and digital radio as well as tea and coffee making facilities. On the same level is a small, recently refurbished shower room with shower cubicle, electric shower, basin and WC. Steep stairs up to the second floor double bedroom with 5ft king size bed and radio.

Vehicular access to property for unloading. Parking available at Harbour car park (daily charge) or at Millpool Car Park, weekly ticket approx. £38.50.

Had a lovely week in Jemima cottage, it is compact especially the stairs but fine for the two of us and Toby the dog. Location is perfect for the pubs and restaurants and just a few yards from the seafront.

1. This was a great great quirky little cottage in the centre of Looe - very clean and tidy and ideal for a couple the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in!! Only drawback is because it is so small there is limited cooking facilities and no washing machine so a stay of more than a week would be difficult 2. Points raised (not a complaint but observations as we loved the cottage!) light bulb in the lamp in the lounge needs changing as it doesnt work. Windows in topfloor bedroom need cleaning inside and out and also the paintwork and putty needs redoing - very dirty and split with black mould.

<p>&#39;The owners are aware of the window frame issue and this is part of the continuing maintenance requirements of owning such a period property. &nbsp;On the yearly maintenance list the Windows are due to be stripped, refurbished and painted this year, but due to very good bookings throughout 2016, the earliest opportunity to carry out this work is November. &nbsp;As a returning customer, we welcome these comments and should you be planning a return trip for 2017, we would offer a 10% discount off any booking, subject to any other offer already applied.&#39;</p>

A beautiful cottage in the heart of Looe so you don't need a car to get to it or out and about in the local area. The location makes it easy to access the coast path for stunning walks and is within walking distance of the train station and a selection of high quality restaurants. The kitchen had all we needed to be self-catered too and the comfortable lounge area made the perfect space to have a relaxed night in. A clean and cosy cottage offering the perfect get-away for one or two people. After such an enjoyable visit last year, I can't wait for my second visit in a few weeks time. Thank you.

This cottage is lovely close to beach and shops an ideal base for a holiday very comfortable and clean not ideal if you have a big dog Though but the fact dogs are allowed was perfect for us this nye was the second we have used the cottage would recommend it for a nice break

Jemima cottage was excellent. I would recommend any couple to go there. It was beautiful. It had the wow factor for us when we walked through the door. We loved it. Great location to all the amenities
