Within a ten minute walk, guests can meander down to Lyme Regis bustling sea front and promenade. Often referred to as the ‘Pearl of Dorset’, Lyme Regis is well known for its literary association with Jane Austen as well as its diverse geology which people from across the world flock to in the hunt for fossils. The historic old town retains an olde worlde charm with small streets filled with galleries, boutique shops and famed gastro restaurants and cafés.  Its sheltered south facing beaches are safe for children and water sports enthusiasts alike with great fishing and leisure boat opportunities available from the Cobb harbour.  For those who would like a change of scene and a day away from the beach, the surrounding rolling countryside, which is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, boasts walking and cycling in abundance or perhaps while away a few days exploring pretty East Devon fishing villages such as Beer and Branscombe or head to the market town of Axminster to sample Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage Canteen

Extensive bookshelf and cupboard with compendium of games.  Feature fireplace, comfortable seating, dining table and chairs for 8 people.  Cupbooard storage for a pool table and table soccer.  The modern kitchen is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, gas hob, electric double oven, radio/i-pod dock.  Stairs to the first floor Bedroom 1 with King Size Bed, feature fireplace and a view of the old town, flatscreen TV and dvd player.  Family bathroom with shower over bath, WC and washbasin. Utility/drying room with Zanussi washing machine and tumble dryer.  Stairs to second floor, Bedroom 2 with 4ft 6inch double bed.  Bedroom 3 sleeps four with Twin 3ft Beds (can zip together to make 6ft King size ) and Full Size Bunks, also with original fireplace and pretty view of the old town.  There is a play table with wooden train set and toys.  Shower Room with WC and washbasin.  All Bedrooms have black out blinds (or shutters).  


To the rear of the property is a wonderful patio garden, fully enclosed and equipped with a large outdoor dining table, bench, chairs and a BBQ– a lovely spot to spend an evening with a glass of wine, whilst listening to the nearby river meandering past.

To the front of the property there is a small patio and a wooden wendy house for the children with outdoor table and seating along with storage for beach accessories.
