Situated in the centre of the pretty village of Thurlestone, this superb, well appointed character cottage offers an ideal holiday location for a couple or  family, with easy access to the golden sandy beaches and renowned Thurlestone golf course nearby as well as all the attractions of the beautiful South Hams in Devon. Tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard,  with a great open fire,  offering comfortable, spacious and homely accommodation, Jubilee Cottage is the perfect base from which to enjoy the village, nearby beaches and surrounding area. The Village Inn, a welcoming pub serving good food is a short walk away and the stunning South West Coastal Path passes through the village, for those who enjoy bracing walks and breathtaking scenery.

Entrance hall.  Lounge with two sofas, flat screen TV and open fireplace creating a cosy retreat in the winter. Dining area with dining table and chairs to seat six and electric fire. Beautiful well equipped fitted kitchen, electric hob, oven under, microwave, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Door to back garden. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. First floor: Master bedroom with 4ft 6 inch double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.  Twin bedroom with 3ft single beds, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers. Shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC. Steep stairs lead to the second floor: Second twin bedroom with 3ft single beds, chest of drawers, wash hand basin in vanity unit.

At the rear of the property is a small patio beyond which is a small, secluded, enclosed garden furniture, sun loungers and barbecue. Shared pedestrian access across the courtyard to adjoining cottage.

On road parking possible immediately outside, as available.

  • Included: Bed linen (not towels), cot, high chair, electricity, central heating (gas), initial supply of logs and coal (in winter).
  • Pets: One well behaved dog welcome. Dog charge £25.00 per week.
    Telephone: Incoming calls and emergency outgoing calls only. Mobile reception mixed.
  • Local Facilities: Beach half a mile. Shop and pub 120 yards. Thurlestone Golf club and course (handicap required) half a mile.

Loved every minute. Got dog treat bag halfway through but was totally appreciated and unexpected

Enjoyed very much , well equipped but main road very noisy and only double bed is in the small front room . Cottage clean ( abit musty on arrival) and well equipped with pleasant enclosed garden

We had a really super week in Jubilee Cottage. It was very comfortable and very well equipped. A perfect location and would definitely recommend.

As I was booking from Germany and had two dogs rather than the usual one there were a number of questions to be answered by phone and email. The Service was always excellent

We loved staying at Jubilee Cottage, but I think it may be useful to know that you cannot always park outside. When you cannot, you end up parking quite a way down the road, which makes it difficult for unloading and getting Kids in and out ( with all their paraphernalia). I would like to say that on the occasion that I telephoned your office, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Thank you

Jubilee cottage was lovely,parking was a problem especially on arrival and departure, a larger saucepan would have been useful also a pair of bar-b-que tongs,but it wouldn,t put us off booking again.

We have stayed in 8 or so properties with you. Jubilee was as every bit as good as any of the others with 2 minor exceptions; no outside tap (dead easy to fit, handy with mucky kids and a real saving on sand in the house) and no visitors book (unusual and hardly a gripe, but often a really handy source of useful information/experiences of others)
