Located on the outskirts of the pretty thatched village of Ringmore, South Devon, is Kimberley Garden Cottage, a ground floor apartment with private garden and deck with beautiful views out to sea. Providing the perfect holiday retreat for couples or small families,  this comfortable and well equipped property offers high standards of accommodation and comfort whilst providing an excellent base from which to visit the superb local beaches and explore further in the beautiful South Hams. Five minutes’ walk from the fantastic village pub and many other gastro eateries within a short drive, the adjoining owners’ B&B also offers additional accommodation should you have extra guests visiting you for a stopover by the coast.

Steps from driveway lead to a level pathway and entrance. Ground Floor: Living room, TV and DVD, portable CD player/radio, wireless broadband. Dining area with table to seat six. Galley kitchen with electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, dishwasher, washing machine. Sunroom with easy chairs, dining table to seat four with sea views and door leading to the garden and patio. Bedroom 1 with 5ft King size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers. Sumptuous en suite bathroom with large walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Bedroom 2 with King sized 5ft double bed - which splits to twin 2ft 6inch beds if required (please advise at time of booking) , wardrobe and dressing table. Family bathroom with bath and electric shower over, hand held shower, basin and WC.

 Mature garden area for guests exclusive use laid mostly to lawn and shrubs with a breathtaking decked viewpoint looking towards Bigbury Bay, furnished with garden chairs. Patio area with garden furniture and charcoal barbecue, rotary dryer. The owners' have friendly dogs in residence, who may greet you from time to time at the gateway. 

Parking for two cars on gated shared driveway.

September 2017

We did enjoy our stay very much and Mr and Mrs Baker were very helpful. My only comment would be about the travel directions given on the sheet sent to us. The directions took us down a number of lanes once we turned off the A38 and the lanes are not well signposted. Taking the main road towards Modbury and then following the directions would be much easier for those unfamiliar with the area.

the property is really nice and very well equipped, the views from the conservetary and garden are excellent. Jane and Richard the owners could not be more helpful and there dogs are brilliant to. Ourselves and our dogs had a lovely relaxing holiday and we will be going again. Thank you.

The property owners, Mr and Mrs Baker, were very welcoming and extremely helpful. Their information file was very comprehensive and up to date. The view from the garden across fields to the bay was just stunning. As we had arrived on Saturday afternoon the owner offered to make reservations for dinner for us at the local pub, he also helped us sort out a car problem, excellent service!
