Lundy is a brand new luxury modern and contemporary house furnished to the uppermost standards and located just a short walk down the hill to the centre of Salcombe. The three storey property has a very innovative layout and is of outstanding design throughout. The handmade Neptune kitchen, Duravit bath and shower rooms, oak flooring, the highest quality linen, Collingwood lighting and Sonos sound system are just some of the luxurious features that earmark this property as something really rather special.

The simply stunning light and spacious open plan living room situated on the top floor is the ideal spot for a family gathering and has beautiful far reaching estuary views through the floor to ceiling aspect window - What better place to come and relax after a long day on the water, beach or in the numerous shops and pubs. Whatever your chosen activity, one thing is certain – you will soon feel right at home in this charming and friendly town where the pace of life is just that little bit slower.

Second floor: Open plan living room with seating area with TV/DVD, two large sofas, two armchairs, dining table to seat 6-8, Glass Juliet balcony and stunning views of the estuary over the rooftops. Kitchen area with Smeg cooker, hobs, large Smeg fridge freezer, Belfast sink, dishwasher, microwave, breakfast bar. First floor: Bedroom 1 with king size bed and en suite shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC. Bedroom 2 with double bed and en suite shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC.  Ground floor with main entrance and access to garden:  Bedroom 3 with double bed and access to garden. Bedroom 4 with twin beds. Family bathroom with bath with hand held shower, separate shower cubicle, basin and WC. Utility room with washing machine and separate tumble dryer.  

Private enclosed garden and terrace with garden furniture.

For two cars in private car port/drive at property. Ample no restriction on street parking nearby.

  • Included: Bed Linen and towels, (guests must provide their own beach towels), Electricity and gas central heating (underfloor). Baby friendly: Travel cot, high chair, steriliser and two stair gates.
  • Telephone: No telephone. Mobile signal good. Wi-Fi.
  • Pets: Dogs by arrangement - Please enquire at time of booking. Dogs allowed on ground floor only. (Pet charge £30.00 per week).
  • Local facilities:  Spar shop 250 yards. North Sands beach 1 mile. Pubs, restaurants and other shops 5 minute walk down the hill into Salcombe centre (slightly longer coming back). Kingsbridge with all facilities including supermarkets 6 miles.

We loved our stay and always have loved Salcombe! Coming in May was a new experience and we really rather enjoyed the peace and quietness given our ever increasing age! The weather helped enormously of course!

Really enjoyed the stay. Visited Salcombe, Dartmouth, Steam Railway and had an estuary boat trip. Very pretty part of the country.

Would not stay at that property again unless the standard and cleanliness of furnishings and the property generally was improved considerably.

Many thanks for the useful feedback. It does appear that over the busy season that some of the sofas and armchairs have picked up some wear. The owners have informed us they will be replacing the furniture in question for next year and attending to any other bits that may need updating or replacing.

We reallly enjoyed our stay and you have a lovely property. One of the bathrooms on the 1st floor has a bit of damp and there was a bit of a damp smell because of it but other than this it was very satisfactory. The parking was a bit tight and the hill up to the property is quite steep, particularly for older and younger guests but otherwise we were very happy.

Beautiful view from the upstairs lounge area. Lovely presentation and welcome cream tea a lovely touch. Would recommend to a large family and Salcombe is delightful. Bonus that the property takes four legged friends!

Enjoyed the week, property had fantastic views. But a few things could have been better for a 5 star rated property: Back door difficult to open and close (one guest injured their finger trying to close the door). the door in the downstairs double room would not open. The downstairs double room lacked a wardrobe so one guest had to hang garments in upstairs bedroom.

It is great to see you had such a great stay at this stunning property in Salcombe. Many thanks for the useful feedback. We will be sure to look into all the points raised. We hope to see you again in the future.
