Maycombe House is a spacious, well equipped detached 200 year old house with a delightful south facing garden in the heart of the pretty village of Beeson. It is situated half a mile from the coastal village of Beesands with its award winning pub and seafood restaurant. This welcoming property and much loved holiday home has a conservatory, open plan kitchen and dining room, a large comfortable lounge with an Ingle nook fire place and log burner. On the first floor there is a family bathroom and three light and good sized bedrooms with views over the surrounding hills and garden. Maycombe makes the perfect base to explore the glorious South Hams, it being within easy reach of the South West Coast path, local beaches and larger towns such as Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Dartmouth.

The traditional Devon village of Beeson nestles  in beautiful countryside a half mile from popular Beesands with its beach, village green, play park, Seafood restaurant, shop, and The Cricket Inn, well known for its tasty food. The Millbrook Inn another popular gastropub is close by in the pretty village of South Pool, where there is also tidal estuary access. The historic town of Dartmouth is an 11 mile drive, and the bustling market town of Kingsbridge 8 miles away both with shops, restaurants, cafes and cinemas. The surrounding area is scenic for walking and cycling and the South West Coast Path is in easy reach.

Single beds, double bedroom 5 ft. King size bed, master bedroom 5ft king size bed, hand basin. Family bathroom bath with shower over, WC and hand basin.

Patio area, table with seating for 4, large garden. Store under the house for bikes/kayaks etc.

Parking off road on the driveway for 2 cars.
