Set on the edge of Bantham estuary with spectacular views towards Burgh Island, this fantastic waterside property is set within its own grounds, offering comfortable and spacious accommodation for families and couples alike . Located only a stone’s throw from the fabulous village pub and within easy walking distance of one of the best surf beaches in the region, Morstones provides a superb base from which to enjoy all this area has to offer.

Ground floor: Lounge with sofas and bay window seat giving spectacular views over Bantham Estuary towards Burgh Island. Second sitting room with flat screen TV,  DVD, open fire, sofas, french doors leading to garden room /conservatory. Well equipped kitchen/diner  with built in electric double oven, gas hob, larder fridge, microwave and dishwasher, large dining table. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and sink. Cloakroom with walk in shower. Bedroom 1 with 3ft single bed, chest of drawers. Bedroom 2 Bunk bedroom with two sets of 3ft bunks and built in wardrobes. Bedroom 3 with 5ft double bed and chest of drawers. Bathroomwith bath and electric shower over, WC and wash hand basin. First floor: Bedroom 4 Master bedroom, with 5ft double bed, two wardrobes, chest of drawers and wash hand basin, waterside views. Bedroom 5 with 5ft double bed, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers and wash hand basin. Bathroom with bath and electric shower over and WC.

The property is approached via a gated driveway and is surrounded by beautiful mature gardens and large lawn, with stunning waterside views of Bantham Estuary and Burgh Island. Picnic bench, garden furniture and charcoal Weber barbecue provided.

  • Included: Bed linen, WiFi, travel cot, high chair, electricity and oil central heating.
  • Pets: Two dogs welcome (downstairs). Pet charge £25.00 per pet per week.

Yes we did, we had a wonderful time & the property was perfect for what we wanted. The most perfect position & views to die for. So good for my husband who is having chemo so unable to join us walking but able to enjoy all the views. The beds were very comfortable. Thank you

Overall we had an enjoyable stay. It's a good property which could be excellent with a little TLC. Location was stunning & well positioned for pub/local shop & tearoom. Cake on our arrival was much appreciated.

ALL excellent other than the bathrooms. None of the three showers is satisfactory and the upstairs bath really is overdue for replacement - perhaps just with a power shower and a basin? We think Morstones is a wonderful property and love going there and have booked in again for New Year but the plumbing arrangements are at best "tired".

We loved Morstones!! The house had spectacular views. The house was very well equipped. It even had a room for our dog.

Morstones is an outstanding property with spectacular views over the estuary and towards Burgh Island. The garden is very large and was wonderful for our grandchildren and dog as well as a more relaxing environment than the beach for babies. The beach and estuary were superb for surfing, swimming and walking. Our family of 10 lived in the house comfortably and have rated our 2 weeks at Morstones as our best ever self catering holiday in the U.K.
