Pitcairn is a beautiful recently refurbished semi-detached house located under 10 minutes’ walk from Salcombe town centre. With a large fully enclosed south facing garden and 3 private parking spaces this property has features rarely seen in the popular seaside town. The house is modern, bright and spacious and boasts an abundance of stylish décor and nice touches throughout.

Entrance to hall leading to large open plan lounge with two sofas, TV, DVD player, large beanbag, feature fireplace (not in use), dining table to seat up to 8 and patio doors to garden. Kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and breakfast bar with 2 stools. Cloakroom with basin and WC. Steps down to utility room with washing machine, fridge freezer and space to hang wetsuits. First floor:  Master bedroom with 5ft king size bed. Bedroom 2 with 4ft6in double bed. Bedroom 3 with 3ft bunk bed and 3ft single bed. Family bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Family shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC.

Large fully enclosed garden area with decking, table and chairs and barbecue.

For 3 cars. One space at front of property for medium sized car and two spaces on private driveway at the rear of the property.  

Included: Bed linen and towels. Electricity and gas central heating. Travel cot and high chair.

Local facilities: Spar shop 200 yards. Other shops, restaurants and pubs all within 10 minutes’ walk. North Sands beach 1 mile. Kingsbridge with supermarkets and all other facilities 6 miles.

Lovely house - light and airy with everything we needed. Our boys loved the park at the top of the road, the beach (South and North Sands) and Woodlands Leisure Park. We used the opportunity to explore a little bit more and visited Dartmouth, Blackpool Sands and Paignton (via the steam train from Kingswear). Lots of choice for food in Salcombe - our favourite was the Island Street Grill.

What a wonderful few days in sunny Salcombe. The house is so lovely to come back to after a day out with everything you might need! Was clean and tidy, and definitely hope to come back here. 10/10. Ideal location, a walk to town but not too busy. Great back route to The Winking Prawn.

What a wonderful stay we have had at Pitcairn! We have made the most of the glorious weather and explored the local beaches - Hope Cove, Bantham, Bigbury-on-Sea, Burgh Island and North Sands. All had different feel - Hope Cove was beautiful and we had lovely ice cream and a pint of Salcombe Ale at the fab pub there, Bantham was great for waves and body boarding. Burgh Island was beautiful to explore and fun to watch the tide enveloping the island. The walk down to North Sands was easy - head back up Onslow Road & Straight over the crossroads and a footpath takes you all the way down. Lunch at The Winking Prawn was a real treat and we had a great meal at The Victoria Inn - less busy than the Kings Arms opposite. All in all a brilliant week, and we return fitter after all those steep hills. Hope to return again! Love Salcombe!

Had a great week in Salcombe. House had everything you need, in a good position away from the hustle and bustle of the the town. The parking was a great bonus.

Thank you for a wonderful week. We have had lots of fun visiting The Winking Prawn, walking to Gara Rock, Bantham beach and Noss Mayo. The house is so comfortable - lovely to sit and have a coffee in the conservatory. We will definitely be back in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The lovely rooms and seaside feel made our Salcombe experience even better. The location is brilliant as we were within walking distance to the town. The garden was beautiful and the children loved it. We really enjoyed staying at this house and would come again.

We had a fantastic time in this house. Location wonderful, just a brisk walk to the town. Salcombe is a beautiful place and the area has so much to offer. The house itself is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It has been a pleasure to stay here in such a lovely home. We will definitely consider staying here again if we visit Salcombe again.
