Property Self-catering holiday cottage.
We loved our stay. Especially the child friendlyness (huge amount of toys and games, cot, stairgate, etc.)was wonderful. We loved the animals wandering around. Excellent service by New Forest Cottages too, thank you for answering all my questions and the quick response to the berserk smoke alarm next door :)
Very enjoyable stay. Suggest slightly more storage space for clothes (chest of drawers and a chair?) in front bedroom. The shower wasn't brilliant. The cottage had a homely feel and the settee in the front room was very comfortable. The garden was a joy to sit in. The TV took some working out but we soon got the hang of it.
Had a very enjoyable week.
We did enjoy our stay- the exception being the first weekend when the next door but one house had an extremely loud party, with live bands in their garden!!
Hello and thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that a neighbouring party caused any disruption to your stay. We are pleased you otherwise enjoyed your stay and hope you will return to the New Forest again in the future. With thanks

Wonderful week great location Easy walk to Main Street.
Lovely week at Rachael’s Cottage Brockenhurst excellent location. Great for a family holiday and your dog. ?????????????????
I was looking for peace and quiet, somewhere to relax and recharge my batteries due to recent sad circumstances. I found it at Rachel's cottage and as the weather was kind I was able to sit and relax in the pretty garden. Brockenhurst is the ideal place to stay (I know it well) everything is on hand when you leave the car at home, shops, places to eat, the station and beautiful countryside all around you. The donkeys and ponies wandering by the gate was a lovely sight. I visited friends on the I.O.W, such an easy relaxed trip by train and ferry. They then came over for lunch with me at the 'Snakecatcher' pub in the village. Unfortunately my week came to an end rather too quickly but I hope to return perhaps for longer next time.
Yes location was perfect, cottage garden and kitchen equipment perfect and apart from our two comments it was lovely and everything we needed. We have booked again for summer.
Lovely comfortable cottage. Which Matched the description exactly. Really child and dog friendly. Lovely touch with large full toy box, child gate and monitor. Lucky because we forgot ours!!
Beautifully appointed, tastefully renovated, very welcoming with a home made cake, chocolates and milk in the fridge. Congratulations to the owners.
Mine and my family stay a racheals cottage over Christmas was perfect such a lovely cottage in a great location can't wait to go back
Brockenhurst is a lovely village with plenty of amenities. The location is really good for going to other parts of Hampshire and Dorset by car, bicycle or train. The cottage is perfect especially for young families. Our daughter and her 10 months old baby we're staying with us for part of the time so it was wonderful to have the baby facilities at the cottage.
