This handsome property is presented to a very high standard in a pleasing contemporary style with extensive use of light oak and slate tiles. There’s a comfortable lounge with woodburner and a sunny dining area with patio doors that open wide onto a level terrace and garden with glimpses of the sea through the trees, an ideal place to relax, dine and enjoy the views.
There is a games room above the garage with a pool table and a TV with DVD as well as plenty of parking. Guests can also bring their own small boat on a trailer to launch in Noss Mayo. For those who enjoy walking, the South West Coastal path passes a few yards from the door and offers visitors some stunning cliff top walks. (Revelstoke Park is a private, co-operatively owned caravan park for holiday use by its owners).
Stoke Cottage: Door into an open plan living room. Lounge area with two sofas surrounding a woodburner stove, flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD. An oak central staircase separates the lounge from a snug furnished with a couple of easy chairs, CD/radio/MP3 player, perfect for relaxing with a book. The light and airy dining area has table and chairs to seat 6 with bifolding doors that open onto the decked garden terrace. An archway leads through to the modern kitchen fitted with a Rangemaster range cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washer dryer and microwave. Stairs to first floor and master bedroom with 4ft 6in bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe. Second double bedroom with 4ft 6in bed, chest of drawers and fitted wardrobe. Family bathroom with bath, shower over, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail. Twin bedroom set in the eaves with two 3ft single beds, chest of drawers and hanging rail. Above garage games room equipped with a small pool table and TV (no signal) with DVD and suitable for games consoles.
Revelstoke Park House is located approximately 20 metres across the lane, and provides dining facilities for large parties of up to 14. The accommodation is as follows:-
Step up to the gabled porch and into the large lounge with beautiful slate floors and underfloor heating throughout, large grey leather corner sofa, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove and character features. Dining area to seat up to 14. Well equipped kitchen with gas Range Cooker, dishwasher, large fridge freezer and washing machine. A tumble dryer is also available. Rear access to enclosed courtyard and terraced gardens beyond. Ground floor cloakroom with WC and hand basin. Oak staircase to first floor: Reading snug area, double futon and armchair, bookshelves and games. Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with 4ft 6inch double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. En suite wet room with shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail. Bedroom 2: Double bedroom with king size 5ft bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedroom 3: Twin bedroom with 3ft single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Family bathroom with bath and shower over, Basin, WC and heated towel rail.
From Stoke Cottage, sliding doors from the dining room fully open to a large garden terrace with patio furnished with rattan style garden seats, table, chairs and barbecue. Revelstoke Park House offers rear garden with terraced levels, fully enclosed with terraces and decks from which to enjoy the quiet surroundings, furnished with garden seating, sun loungers, patio table & chairs and charcoal barbecue.
Garage for one car plus two additional spaces in front of garage at Stoke Cottage. Parking for two on driveway opposite at Revelstoke Park House, with additional spaces in car park.
- Included: Bed linen, towels, WiFi in both properties, electricity and central heating (oil). Travel cot, high chair and stair gate on request. Complimentary basket of logs in appropriate season.
- Pets: Up to two well behaved dogs welcome ((max 1 dog per property) Regret no puppies. Dogs to be kept on lead when in holiday park. Pet Charge: £25.00 per pet per week (£30.00 from Jan 2019)

- Local Facilities: Stoke beach at bottom of the hill (about 400 yards). Sandy beach at Mothecombe 4 miles. Other south coast beaches easily accessible by car. Village shop, butcher and several pubs in Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo. Plymouth with all facilities 10 miles.
Only issue is remoteness of th location this has both benefits and downsides. The Hill is huge and getting back up is challenging even for the fittest of individuals. Reason I scored a 4 is purely because of the commute to amenities. However if u are prepared beforehand then u should have no problems
We had a great stay. The cottages were warm and comfortable and tastefully decorated and furnished. The location was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.
