We had a marvellous holiday - the house was excellent and the village, the beaches, the pub and shop and hotel were all within walking distance and all wonderful. We even had a week of lovely weather - lots of sun and no rain. And we really enjoyed Totnes.
Very well equipped and positioned bungalow. \very dog friendly
Lovely private garden. Good location. Lovely to have the nspresso machine.
The door handles also need attention as they are about to come off the spindle
Our family had a wonderful stay at Seascape! The bungalow had everything we could have wished for and was warm and comfortable. We spent most of our time in the kitchen diner as it was so spacious and light and the huge windows kept the place very warm. We were in a great location as the village centre was a 10 minute walk away through a short cut. The local pub (Village Inn) is a wonderful pub to visit with welcoming staff and delicious food! The coastal walk from Thurlaston beach to Hope Cope beach was somewhat windy but very scenic and the Hope and Anchor pub is well worth a visit! We will certainly be returning to Seascape.
We had a good holiday in Seascape. The only thing that dragged it down was the lack of wifi from Wednesday afternoon onwards which couldn't be repaired during our stay. Having had authorization from the owner to phone BT to run diagnostics (which we did at 10pm) we even offered to stay in for half a day to get it repaired but BT couldn't come during our week there. The lack of wifi was very frustrating as we were relying on it to do things online (book a holiday for Xmas being one) but most importantly due to lack of mobile phone reception it provided us with our only means of emergency communication with our children overnight (in the daytime it mattered less as were usually out walking so could pick up reception). Please encourage the homeowner to install a landline for emergency use (like the Nook and Baytree have).
Very sorry that you had an issue with the Wi-Fi and dealing with BT in these circumstances is very trying. In such circumstances you are always welcome to visit our offices and use our Wi-Fi for emergencies. Not ideal, but difficult to organise anything else when matters such as this outside our control occur. Delighted that you still managed to have an enjoyable break

really enjoyed the stay, beautiful area thank you very much will book with thc again.
Very comfortable bungalow, Very clean and well equipped,
We enjoyed our stay at the house and would go back. Just a little more detailed cleaning around the toilets and the outside of the house. Like the window ledges and cobwebs
We had a lovely holiday at seascape cottage,(Thurlestone) and I would like to thank you for your help and assistance. We hope to visit again in the near future
2nd time of staying here, - very nice owners, the property is great, - clean & spacious but quite cosy. perfect location, with lovely views, so certainly recommend this
In general a very nice bungalow, with excellent facilities.
Yes we enjoyed our stay thank you. Beds comfortable & gd quality bedding. Also, tasteful furnishing & no knick knacks which spoil many a holiday home! Design well laid out for holiday home.
We all enjoyed our stay pity there was only one pub but its a lovely village and would definitely go to Thurlstone again and the surrounding area.
Lovely bungerlow in a very quiet area. Perfect for dogs, no checking to see if they have escaped. The beach is very close by and doggy friendly. Accomadation very modern with all you need. We all had a great time and would recommend to anyone reading this. Impressed with toad hall when we had a problem with the internet they were very quick to help solve the problem.
Seascape is advertised with an enclosed garden, but it has a 100% secure garden, with a 6 foot fence all around the rear of the property and secure gates either side of the bungalow. Our 2 Beagles explored every inch of the garden, but could find no way out! The bungalow is just as pictured. Nothing faked in the photos. Perfect, apart from the spiders, but that can't be helped! The picture window at the front (kitchen/diner) is amazing! What a sun trap, but the views while you eat are amazing. But no nosy neighbour problems, with high hedges and situated in a cul-de-sac. Great bathroom and master en suite has powerful shower. Parking OK for 2 cars, too, although the drive is a little narrow. There are only really positives to say about this place and we would love to return in the future. Even if to sample the Salcombe ice cream mentioned in the other review!! The beaches are less than 5 minutes in the car and there is parking. All nearby beaches are safe and dog friendly. Again, the dogs were more than happy on the beaches. Just be careful with the rip tide on the beaches, as they do shelve deeply, meaning a strong pull as each wave returns. The coast paths are a little close to the cliff tops in places, so not ideal for inquisitive dogs.
I wish to register a complaint !! You should have insisted we stay for at least two weeks not just one. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed Seascape and the local area. Super beaches a few minutes away and British sunshine, fantastic. Don't forget Salcombe ice cream, it should be provided on the NHS, lovely stuff. Thanks for a great holiday
