This stunning detached thatched property with outdoor swimming pool and direct forest access is located in a peaceful and secluded setting just a mile away from the picturesque New Forest village of Brockenhurst. Sleeping up to 12 people in 6 bedrooms this spacious luxury newly refurbished property is beautifully presented and provides all the mod cons and comforts you will need for the perfect holiday accommodation. Brimming with style and elegance, plenty of outside space, games room, parking and superbly located, Thatchby Oak will provide a fantastic holiday base for all the family at any time of year.
With direct forest access from Thatchby Oak you will be able to instantly join the miles of cycle and walking tracks to fully explore the local area including the Ornamental Rhinefield Drive with the famous Redwood trees, stopping at the popular Rhinefield House Hotel for some refreshment. Free roaming ponies, donkeys and cattle will be seen from the house, so please keep the gate shut at all times. Further afield, the south coast yachting town of Lymington is just 6 miles away where there are plenty of interesting shops, restaurants, pubs and coastal walks to enjoy.
In low season it is possible to rent this property for 10 guests or less with a £300 reduction in the price for week-long bookings. The twin bedroom and en suite shower on the seond floor will be unavailable. Please call the office on 01590 679655 to make the booking.
Please note that access to Thatchby Oak is via an unmade gravel track. Please drive carefully as there may be potholes.

The thoughtful owners have also provided a games room suitable for all ages with pool table, table football, Smart TV and Playstation 4.

The gated outdoor heated swimming pool (11m x 5m in size with depth of 1.2 m at shallow end and 2m at the deep end) is available from 24 May until 13 September 2019 inclusive. With plenty of garden furniture, loungers and outside toilet with changing area it will be difficult to tear yourself away from here on a warm sunny day! Fenced and gated expansive lawns and gravel drive surround the property making this a secure place for children to play as long as young children are supervised around the pool. The south facing terrace and shaded vine covered relaxation area, both with garden furniture are perfect places to relax and unwind.
Please note that due to the property being thatched the use of a BBQ is not permitted.
