The Cubbyhole is a beautiful little sanctuary, full of character yet completely modernised in the excellent location of East Looe. Just a short walk from the popular sandy beach it really is a first class choice for your holiday in South Cornwall. The cottage is in the heart of the bustling seaside town, yet tucked away in a quiet residential street with the numerous shops, restaurants and bars within a short, level walk. For the walkers amongst you, the scenic South West Coastal Path runs through Looe and the walk to the history fishing village of Polperro is highly recommended. The owners have gone to great lengths to ensure a holiday to remember, so The Cubbyhole will not disappoint.
Modern kitchen/diner with gas oven and four ring hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dining table to seat four. Cosy lounge with log burning gas effect stove, two leather sofas, flat screen HD TV with Freesat, DVD player, a selection of DVDs, iPod dock, CD player and a selection of board games. Stairs from the kitchen lead to two bedrooms. Double bedroom with 5ft king size bed, flat screen TV, iPod dock, flame effect stove, wash basin and small en-suite WC. Twin bedroom with 3ft single beds, wash basin and small en-suite shower room with electric shower and WC.
Please note: There is only one shower room, which is accessed via the twin bedroom. Regret no small children.
A Parking Permit is provided for the Millpool Carpark, which is approx. 5 to 10 minutes walk from the property.

We enjoyed it
Loved our third annual fortnight in Cubbyhole. Perfect location for both beach & shops (especially with two children who want to be a bit more independent). It's a shame pets are not permitted as our Children missed our dog so much this year. We may have to look elsewhere in the town next year. We love this cottage. Thank you. The Malin Family x
Property requires a new iron - temperature is faulty, warm does not remove creases, hot burns a hole and water leaks out of iron. Ironing board is tricky to set up There was an issue with a glass table top (owner Tracie is aware) which could not be helped and was sorted out by the owner, the issue was rectified swiftly and efficiently. Beautiful cottage, we love staying there. Our 2nd stay there and will be looking to book again for 2018

Excellent well presented cottage in a beautiful location.
Cottage was beautiful. We forgot a couple of things and were really pleased to find them already provided by the owner. Furnishings were very in keeping with cottage and beds very comfy!
This is our 2nd. booking with Toad Hall cottages and I have to say how pleased we have been with the experience. Everything ran very smoothly, and we were particularly impressed by the quality of the cottage and key access arrangements. We thought that the welcome pack there was a very nice touch and with a lovely week of weather our holiday was superb.
We really enjoyed our week staying at the delightful Cubbyhole, it is a beautiful cottage and the location was fabulous.One of the plus points was that we didn't have to use the car everyday as there are some brilliant coastal walks. If we had one minor suggestion, it would be to have a different parking space in the carpark as it was extremely difficult to manoeuvre the car given the angle of the space to adjacent spaces, a metal post and a building. Apart from that wonderful service fro Toad Hall staff.
We had no problems at all we found toad hall staff were extremely pleasant when speaking on the phone or in person which in todays world is hard to come by so thank you all at toad hall and yes we will be back.
Beautiful cottage in an wonderful location. Amazing restaurants on the doorstep. We shall return!
