Description

The Dell studio apartment is a cosy, fully self contained bolt hole on the upper storey of Dell House. The house is situated on the hill by the road that leads down to Salcombe town centre, the shops, pubs, restaurants and waterfront. It is ideal for couples wishing to visit this vibrant seaside town at any time of year and has its own entrance, far reaching views, secluded garden and patio with garden furniture and private parking. The owners are pet friendly, so it will appeal to couples or small families who love the outdoors and will appreciate the wonderful walks that abound in this area of Devon, especially the South West Coastal Path that can be accessed close to the property and follows the dramatic coastline.

Exterior staircase to front door and entrance lobby. Further stairs up to the open plan living room/kitchen with two armchairs, folding dining table and chairs, flatscreen 22” TV with Freeview, DVD and CD/radio. Well fitted galley kitchen, incorporating electric ceramic hob, oven/grill, refrigerator, freezer and microwave. Shower room with shower cubicle and electric shower, wash basin, WC, heated towel rail and shaver socket. Double bedroom with zip link beds (can be made up as 6ft double or 3ft twin beds), wardrobe, chest of drawers, washbasin in vanity unit and TV. There is also a futon, located in a safe, curtained-off area on the landing.

  • Included: Bed linen (not towels these can be hired, please call for details) electricity, gas central heating (controlled from the main house).
  • Pets: One well behaved pet welcome. (Pet charge £25.00 per week).

  • Local Facilities: Salcombe estuary sandy beaches accessible on foot or by passenger ferry. Pubs, restaurants, shops and Post Office all in Salcombe.

Yes, my wife and I had a very enjoyable stay. The apartment covered all the bases for us being in an ideal location, well furnished and comfortable. We will certainly consider staying in this apartment in the future.

We really loved staying here, thank you. We really appreciated the privacy of the garden and the freedom to do our own thing. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. We brought our own cafetiere but we didn't need to, there was one there! Super clean upon arrival and really lovely that they take dogs too. Thank you for a wonderful time in Dell Studio Apartment.

Had a wonderful week at the Dell Studio Apartment. As someone else has already mentioned the place was spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed. Lovely place to come back to after a busy days sightseeing. Our dog loved the secluded garden. Very friendly owners and would definitely recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Dell Studio Apartments, the accomodation was lovely and perfect for our stay. Location was great, only 10 minute walk to the centre which saved us using the car all week. The owners were very friendly and helpful advising where to visit. Salcombe was beautiful and we had so much to do in the week there. I would highly recommend the apartment to anyone wanting to visit Salcombe and the surrounding area. All in all the best holiday we have had in England

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in Salcombe staying at Dell Studio Apartment. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and well equipped It is within walking distance of Salcombe and is a great place to stay for 2 people. The apartment comes with the added bonus of a parking place (which is so hard to come by in Salcombe) and a private garden. Would definitely recommend.
