Yes we did enjoy our stay, to pack the car on the last day, we moved it to High Street the night before, and loaded it before 9.0am, and bought a one hour ticket.
The cottage was first class in every way and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!
Totnes is a peaceful place to stay , but with plenty of very good eating places and pubs !! Will definitely return , hopefully to garden annexe which cannot be faulted .
After recently having a disappointing stay in Weymouth with another company, I would like to congratulate the owners and yourselves on the property and the facilities provided. My sister and I were very grateful for all the hard work that has obviously gone into making the property a wonderful holiday let.
A wonderful week despite a rainy day. We cannot find fault with this charming property! 5 star!
Lovely holiday in this extremely well appointed cottage. Clean and one of the best equipped cottages we have ever stayed in and nicely situated in the middle of Totnes.
Stayed in August 2018 - Lovely cottage, visited friends and ate well at local restaurants. Love Totnes and the cottage too!
Stayed in September 2018 - We have had a fantastic holiday, very comfortable and clean cottage and also one of the best equipped we have stayed in. Would recommend the 'Round Robin' trip!
Yes really enjoyed our second stay in this cottage. Home from home and excellent location for us. We will be back again!
Wow, what a great find this was! Beautiful modern cottage. We have loved our stay being so close to many great attractions and will recommend to others!!
We've had a fantastic week in this gem of a property. The best-equipped cottage we've ever stayed in and a marvellous location. Would recommend Bigbury-on-Sea beach and lunch at The Cott in at Dartington. We will definitely use Toad Hall again next year if we head in this direction!
Stayed July 2018. Thank you - we had a wonderful stay catching up with friends and family, you have a really beautiful cottage - so quiet yet so central!
Stayed July 2018. Perfect cottage in a great location. Had a wonderful holiday here. Children don't want to go home! Really recommend a trip to Bigbury-on-Sea, beautiful beach. Wish we could stay longer! Thank you!
Had a lovely week in this lovely cottage. Nice town with nice places to visit.
Excellent cottage fab location so much thought into everything inside would definitely recommend it and stay again thankyou.
We all had a fantastic time. The property is gorgeous, in a great location and is bigger than it appears online. Would thoroughly recommend.
Very enjoyable stay, would rent again.
Very much so and a warm welcome on arrival with milk, cake etc. The location was ideal for our needs and felt very at home in the cottage. Very well equipped and very comfy beds.
A lovely cottage so well situated and equipped, always a pleasure to stay there.
Toad Hall were very helpful and made booking over the phone very easy. We liked the directions and the 'what to do' email that was sent before we left. The standard of the property was superb and we really enjoyed staying there for our holiday. We will be booking with Toad Hall again and have already recommended both the company and the property to friends and family.
A charming property, tastefully and comfortably furnished to a very high standard. Nothing has been overlooked - a perfect holiday home for all
This was a real gem of find, beautifully furnished throughout with added plus of an outside area. The 2nd bedroom is probably more suited to children or teenagers opposed to two adults as there is not too much room between the beds, however they were extremely comfortable beds. I would strongly recommend this cottage if you wanted a cosy base to see more of South Devon as it is ideally located. On the down side please be aware that it is situated close to the church and church bells chime every quarter hour with bongs on the hour 24/7, we're accustomed to this as we live in a village and soon became oblivious to the chimes, however if you're from a town this might be annoying, but otherwise excellent choice and we will use Toad Cottages in the future.
