1 The Malt is a contemporary ground floor apartment in the centre of Kingsbridge near to the main market square and estuary. It has recently been totally redecorated with all new furniture. The property is within walking distance to many restaurants and independent shops.

The seaside areas of Salcombe, Thurlestone, Hope Cove and Start Bay are also all within an easy drive for the days you wish to relax on the beach or take on one of the areas many stunning coastal walks.

Parking permit provided for nearby Quay car park (100 yards from property). Parking permit can also be used in additional car parks around the South Hams. Unloading possible at rear of property.

Yes. we enjoyed our stay. It was good to have the use of the courtyard and the central location is a real bonus. Although we had the use of a car it was also easy to use local buses to visit Salcombe and Totnes as the bus station is directly opposite.

Washing machine only a problem regards drying clothes. Most apartments have washer and dryer or a combined model. Air drying most incovenient. Would prefer a tumble dryer to a dishwasher, which remained unused, (not uncommon I suspect). Hot water also ran out the one night. Loved having an outdoor space, which we used a lot. On the whole very happy with property and would hapily book again; though a change of matress would be very welcome.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in kingsbridge. The property is in a perfect location, with a lovely little garden that we sat in most days. Excellent standard of furnishings inside property, would highly recommend.
