Description

This is an exclusive, development of luxurious quayside apartments situated just outside the centre of Kingsbridge. No. 4 is on the first floor, faces South West and has beautiful views of the ever-changing tidal estuary. A short stroll along the adjoining waterside path brings you to the town centre with its excellent range of shops catering for both young and old, good pubs and some excellent restaurants. This modern property is very well designed both inside and out and is furnished to a superior standard, so comfort comes with style and elegance too. Originally the show flat, it is equipped with very high quality fittings, including a superb kitchen, excellent down-lighting and wood-strip flooring generally (ceramic floor tiles in the bathrooms and carpet in the bedrooms). There are security entrance gates, audio access to individual apartments and push button entry to apartment stairs. This is a superb waterside setting.

Stairs from lobby lead up to the first floor and door into No 4. Surprisingly spacious hall and exceedingly well-furnished and very comfortable open plan living room with windows and patio doors (with safety balcony) almost the length of the room taking full advantage of the sunshine and beautiful views. Sitting area with 2 large sofas, chair, TV with DVD. Dining area with table and 8 chairs and most attractive fully fitted kitchen units with integral electric oven, ceramic hob with cooker hood over, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A washer/dryer is housed in a large laundry cupboard in the hall. Master bedroom with 5ft king bed, built-in mirrored cupboards, floor to ceiling windows and wonderful views, en-suite shower room with power shower, corner basin and WC. Further bedroom with 3ft twin beds and built in mirrored cupboards. A third small bedroom with wardrobe has a single 2ft 6in bed. Bathroom with bath, power shower over, basin set in vanity unit and WC.

Security gates at entrance operated by remote control/keypad code.

Covered designated parking, strictly for one car only. On street parking 100 yards or Quay public car park.

  • Included: Bed linen, towels, (guests must provide their own beach towels), electricity and central heating (gas).
  • Telephone: No telephone. Mobile reception good. Wi-Fi.
  • Local Facilities: Beach 5 miles. Shops, pubs, restaurants quarter of a mile level walk.

Lovely apartment- stunning location. The view of the estuary was magical especially at sunrise and sunset.

Kingsbridge was a delightful place to say, so much more interesting than Salcombe and less busy than Dartmouth. We had been here before on day visits but never to stay. We had a great time and the weather was mostly kind.

I decided to fill in this questionnaire because I had a fall on the first day and fractured my wrist. The fall was not in the apartments. The service I received from the Minor Injuries Unit in Kingsbridge and the major trauma unit in Plymouth was excellent. As a result of my injury we spent more time in the apartment than we originally intended. The flat was very comfortable and there were plenty of cushions on which to rest my wrist in its plaster cast.

We're sorry to hear about the fall you suffered whilst on holiday and wish you a speedy recovery. It is good to see that despite this you enjoyed your stay at the property and we hope to welcome you back again soon.

4 Crabshell quay has to be one of the best holiday lets we have stayed in. The location was ideal, easy walk to shops and eateries. The view from the window each morning is lovely. The apartment is tastefully furnished, clean and is equipped with everything you need for a break. Would definitely come back.

4 Crabshell Quay is a very comfortable property with a magnificent outlook to the estuary and with easy, level walking to Kingsbridge centre. Kingsbridge shops are numerous and being non chain, interesting. The 1st floor apartment is 50 yards from a good pub/restaurant. Who could want more?
