The beautiful sailing and fishing harbour of Salcombe is only a few miles away and Hope Cove just 3 miles. Immediately on entering the house one senses a warm feeling of light and spaciousness, borne out by the comfort of the large airy rooms and quality furniture, some of which are good quality antiques. The fabulous, fully enclosed and totally private rear garden, which is not overlooked by any neighbouring houses, has lovely restful unspoilt countryside views, particularly from the top terrace. This delightful property is ideal for those seeking all the comforts of their own home and is perfect for either a family group, or a couple with a baby or a dog, or both!

Well fitted kitchen, with built-in eye level double oven, electric hob, built under microwave, dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment (further fridge/freezer in garage), mini CD stereo system with iPod dock, door to small lobby with washing machine and door to terrace. 3 steps up from hall to landing. Master bedroom with fitted cupboards, 6ft super-king bed, 32” TV and basin. En-suite shower room with shower cubicle and WC. Twin bedroom with 3ft beds (can be pushed together to form a double bed), 32” TV, fitted cupboards and basin. Bunk bedroomwith full size (3ft) bunk beds (cannot be separated), fitted cupboards and basin. Bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Staircase down from kitchen to semi basement tiny hallway. Smallish bedroom/playroom with play-station, and sofa-bed suitable for one, electric panel heater. En-suite WC and basin. Large boiler room with clothes drying racks. Door to garage.

A feature of the property is the delightful, most attractive fully enclosed very private rear garden with tall hedges, rockeries and flower-beds brimming with flora. There are terraces on 3 levels, thereby giving a choice of areas to relax. Garden table and chairs, gas barbecue and bench.

Every convenience you could require is available in this beautiful bungalow along with a welcome pack that is the most generous I have ever come across. No hesitation in 100% recommending this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was of an excellent standard. I enjoyed watching the birds at the bird feeding station. It was a lovely touch having so much food for them in the garage. My grandson and son in law enjoyed playing on the play station. We all loved doing the walk at Loddiswell and eating cream teas at the Avon Mill Garden Centre.

Yes, we did enjoy our stay. The welcome hamper was much appreciated. The garden was lovely but not entirely safe for our dog as he escaped through a space by the side gate. We rectified this by moving the bins to cover the opening. Another niggle was the heating was timed from 8am to 10pm and the temperature could be moved up or down which was fine, but I am an early riser (6am) and spent a couple of hours in the cold. Sorry for all the moans!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Books games and PlayStation much appreciated as was equipment for our canine visitor. Perfect accommodation for 3 generations
This was our 7th or 8th stay at Fallowfield & it was great as usual. The welcome hamper is amazing, containing lots of goodies for us & our 3 Westies. The owners, Paul & Rachel, have thought of everything. We'll be back!
Definitely yes. Property very spacious and well equipped. Exceeded expectations. Shame about the wet weather -but it didn't stop us enjoying our holiday. Gives us a reason to revisit!

Over the last few years, we have stayed in more than 20 properties in the South Hams; Fallowfield is our favourite. We appreciate the space, the quality and the relaxation it affords. It is very much a home away from home.
excellent arrival being greeted with a basket of goodies. wine, biscuits, tea, coffee, milk, and mini eggs, beautiful flowers. rosies and lillies, dog treats in bowls for our dogs, and Easter eggs on our pillows, just wonderful. Well done

We have just returned from a lovely week away at Fallowfield. This property is in a quiet location but close to lovely beaches and walks. A fantastic property that caters for all the family. The owner was very helpful with a call prior to our arrival. A lovely welcome basket too for us all (including our dog!). When booking again we will be sure to check to see if Fallowfield is available.
Just got back from Fallowfield best holiday we have had wonderful house great position close to a good beach. Owners are very helpful and thoughtful even down to a pack dog treats for Prince. We will go back again
My second visit to Fallowfield. Cannot wait to come back. It was a lovely property first time round (2012) but has now had a bit of a makeover and i was stunned when i walked in. Fabulous property, everything you could wish for and lovely people who own it.

I have always found the service with Toad Hall cottages excellent and although I did take a look at other companies this year due to booking late I found that I returned to Toad Hall Cottages as the site was much more professional and easier to use without fuss.
1st stay at Fallowfield. Thought it was better than photos. Well equipped, very spacious and great area for dogs!!
