August 2019

Yes lovely house with lots of space but the only down side was that you had to always get into a car to see the nice areas like Lymington.

June 2019

Thanks and we love your special property in the New Forest!

June 2019

We have enjoyed a lovely stay in this wonderful place. thank you for all the hints and tips, we pretty much followed them all. This is by far the most beautiful and family friendly place we have ever stayed. We hope to be back again one day.

May 2019

What a wonderful house! Games and books went down a treat on rainy day, and the football nets were a major hit. Able to spot deer early one morning. So well equipped too, perfect!

May 2019

We loved the house it was fab! We loved the outdoor playing house and the big garden. The house was perfect for exploring the coast and the New Forest. We enjoyed walks along the Seawall at Keyhaven and the walk from Highcliffe to Mudeford. We all loved the Noisy Lobster for lunch. We also loved Brownsea Island (National Trust), about 45 min drive and a ferry! Moors Valley was excellent for children. We did the Wilverley enclosure walk. Thank you for making the house so comfortable and homely.

May 2019

Lovely home and gardens, we all felt very comfortable here. Perfect base to explore the New Forest without having to travel a great distance. A special place to celebrate my 60th with my Family. Thank You !

April 2019

The house was perfectly situated for exploring both the New Forest itself and the coastline. The house had everything you needed - very well equipped and very homely. Perfect for children and adults and the garden is fabulous.

March 2019

A wonderful stay at Number Four again. Beautiful days out along the coast, and fun in the garden. So lovely to come back again. We appreciate the goodies that you left out for us, thank you for everything and having us back again to your beautiful home!

March 2019

Another perfect stay at Number Four- and this time for Christmas!

March 2019

A great stay in your delightful house. Very comfortable and an excellent base to explore all the coast and New Forest has to offer. The weather was dry with little frost, so good for getting around in January! Thinking of relocating to the area so will be back to continue our search. Thank for a lovely week.

March 2019

Our 3rd stay here, great week, it just feels like home! Absolutely love it, especially playing games and sitting around the fire. Thank you so much. The house is so cosy, everything we needed was provided and more. A real home from home! So easy to settle in and relax. Thanks again for a lovely week.

March 2019

Thank you for a fantastic stay at Number Four. The house suited our family of three young boys perfectly. What a garden to explore!! They loved playing football and hide and see and also visiting the cows and the pigs across the lane. We had some great days out at the local beaches, Mudeford, Avon and Bournemouth Air Show! We are sad to leave this beautiful house but look forward to having another great holiday here soon.

March 2019

A real home from home! We have had a wonderfully relaxing week here at Number Four. The house is well equipped with everything you need and little people are very well catered for, which was an extremely pleasant surprise. There is so much to see and do here. Highlights include Beaulieu, a day trip to Bournemouth and Sunday lunch at The Monkey House. We would not hesitate to recommend Number Four to Friends and Family and happily return ourselves. Thank you!

January 2019

Quality property in lovely surroundings handy for Lymington and the New forest. A home from home and the owner Nicky called to welcome us and check everything Ok.

August 2018

Great stay loved it. Only problem bed very uncomfortable. Games room equipment tired.

September 2017

Sadly disappointed. House itself was grand and outside space was great for the kids. However the inside was a bit tired, bedding was horrid and just needs throwing away (lumpy and greasy), toaster was rubbish, coffee machine mouldy, old sofas coated in dust, the house smelt musty and had a layer of stickiness. Wifi wasn't great, there are solutions for this given a 5star property. Needs a thorough clean and removal of clutter and toys (quality not quantity). Go carts had no pedals.. didn't look at bikes but we were told the owners don't know what state they are in... overall disappointed and give 3+ stars. Also nearest pub maybe less than a mile (doubtful), but it was a 5 minute drive and not walkable.

We thank you for your comments and are pleased that the children loved their stay. We are sorry to hear that you encountered any issues during your stay at Number Four and, had the owner been contacted during your stay, all of these items would have been dealt with in a speedy fashion. The owner has replaced the bedding, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. The dusty, musty and sticky items have been cleaned or replaced to ensure the high standard of cleanliness continues to be met. The owner was sorry to hear that one of the go carts was broken – both it and the bikes have now been removed. We have looked at the distance for the pubs and we believe that the distance has been calculated incorrectly and therefore this will be amended. Once again we thank you for your feedback on your recent stay.

April 2017

A really great cottage. Shame the wifi was out for the whole week, but it couldn't be helped. We had a fabulous time !

Thank you for your lovely comments. We are sorry that the WiFi was down for your stay, the owner did endeavour to fix this for you but you had kindly advised you wished not to be disturbed. We hope you will return to the New Forest again soon.

January 2017

Our short family break exceeded my expectations. The house, grounds, location, facilities and atmosphere were superb and exactly as described. Highly recommended service, will certainly use again when looking for a New Forest Holiday. Thank you.

December 2016

Had a lovely stay

February 2016

We had high expectations having read the reviews and we were NOT disappointed. The kitchen/living room is a beautiful sociable area which looks out on to a lovely garden. We loved the wood burning stove and having stayed in numerous holiday cottages, this was by far the best equipped with everything you could imagine. We were not able to benefit from all the outdoor features since it was a frosty February week but it would certainly be great for families in the summer. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to others.

July 2015

Wow! I am lost for words, the house is amazing. We walked around with gaping mouths for the first half an hour in awe of everything. Thank you so much.

July 2015

Oh wow - what a gorgeous house - possibly the best equipped holiday house we have ever stayed at. So comfortable, homely and relaxing. The arrival package of goodies was a lovely touch - recommended to friends and family.

July 2015

Had an amazing time. Can't wait to come back again. Everything here for the children was wonderful.

July 2015

We were not expecting there to be so much to do here, and for there to be so much outdoor space - certainly won't forget this holiday!

July 2015

Thank you for all the games and toys. A real haven for families as there is so much space

July 2015

Fabulous house and garden. Thank you for making it so welcoming; a home from home... a particularly lovely hideaway. The children really loved the outdoor space and all the toys and games.

July 2015

Beautiful house, one of the best equipped we have stayed in. Alex and I shall miss the kitchen! The girls will miss the trampoline and we shall all miss sitting in the sunshine and the peace and quiet. A lovely relaxing week.

July 2015

A very well-equipped and family-friendly house. The boys (aged 2) loved the toys and trampoline, in fact they cried when we left each day as they wanted to stay in the "White House"! A great location for the New Forest and would definitely recommend it to other "twin Moms"!
