This large well equipped three bedroom dog friendly detached house is located in a residential area in the village of Dibden Purlieu, near Hythe on the edge of the New Forest National Park. With plenty of space throughout and ground floor facilities for people with limited mobility this property is ideal for a multi-generational holiday.
The quaint village of Hythe is located on Southampton Water three miles away. It is possible from here to take the electric train along the historic pier to catch the ferry for the fifteen minute crossing to Southampton. There are fantastic views from the pier and waterfront of the many cruise liners that regularly visit the port of Southampton. Three miles to the west of Dibden Purlieu is the famous Beaulieu Village and the award-winning Motor Museum which has many specialist car events for the motor enthusiast. For a culinary feast visit the Terrace restaurant at The Montagu Arms Hotel in Beaulieu. Enjoy a scenic walk along the Beaulieu river to historic Bucklers Hard village and Maritime museum. Lepe Country Park is within a 15 minute drive where you can enjoy a scenic coastal walk along the pebble beach with views towards the Isle of Wight, birdwatching and viewing historic remains from the D-Day landings.
A 5 minute drive from Lepe is the Calshot Activity Centre. In a prime location on the shores of the Solent, Calshot Activities Centre is one of the largest outdoor adventure centres in Britain. The centre provides a wide range of exciting water and land based activities, for all abilities and ages throughout the year, either indoors within the historic hangars which accommodate a climbing complex, an indoor velodrome and a dry ski slope or outdoors on land or the water.
It is possible to walk or cycle from the house to the Dibden Inclosure which forms part of the New Forest. The popular New Forest open top Tour Bus stops at the Heath Pub (a 5 minute walk) during July and August. Within a 20 minute drive you will reach award winning Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World and also Lyndhurst a popular New Forest Village.
On entering the property, you will find a utility room to the left which includes washing machine, tumble dryer and bicycle storage.

Pets Up to 2 well behaved dogs welcome but absolutely not allowed in the bedrooms. Must be over the age of 1 year old (unless agreed with the owner prior to booking) and dogs must be fully housetrained and well behaved. Please note there is a standard pet charge of £30 per pet per week.

Excellent facilities in a large and roomy property.
Nice and warm inside on chilly days. The property was in a convenient position for places to visit. The down stairs bedroom was very spacious for a person with disabilities with out it being made obvious. We had a lovely stay.
We found the property very well equipped and comfortable. It was perfect for our needs.
Totally enjoyed the week. Ideal for elderly parents , daughter, dog and myself

We enjoyed our stay at Quantock Moor. The property was spacious, clean and well equipped. We found the laundry and storage space particularly useful for a party of 6 (grandparents, parents & 2 small children). The parking was ideal for the cars and the garden was the perfect place to relax each evening, along with the conservatory.
Really enjoyed our stay at this large comfortable property. Good base to explore the New Forest, especially Beulieau. The bedrooms are huge! The utility room is very useful for storage of bikes and washing. We didnt even use the dining room or second living room as there is plenty of space to eat in the kichen and relax in the living room. If it were my property i'd make one of these into a fourth bedroom! We would have no hesitation staying here again and highly recommend it.
We enjoyed our stay very much wonderful location for visiting all New Forest area. Grand children loved the red room (library chairs)
