Had a thoroughly lovely holiday
We have stayed here more times than we care to remember and we have enjoyed our stay this time as much as we always do! Fabulous location, property and Simon the caretaker!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beeches was a cosy cottage of high standards to come back to after long walks and Simon (the Caretaker) was very helpful. Have already recommended to family and colleagues.
Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The garden is lovely although we were unable to make the most of it due to the weather however I am sure delightful in the summer months. Would visit again.
Lovely stay at beeches Buckland Court. Very well equipped and clean. Spacious and comfortable. It is quite remote and you need to get in the car to get anywhere but that’s my fault for not realising that when I booked. Simon the gardener was excellent and the garden absolutely beautifully kept. Flowers and court yard were gorgeous. Thank you Simon
Everything was fantastic. Very clean! The best holiday cottage I've stayed in. The caretaker, Simon, was wonderful and very helpful. He lent me a bat detector to hear the bats!
Everything was excellent both inside and outside. We really had an amazing family holiday, it was a holiday with a difference the grandchildren loved it and asked to go back again.
We have been to Beeches many times. Excellent homely cottage. Provides everything we could need. We choose to book with Toad Hall cottages - the service is excellent. Thank you.
Lovely property but a little remote for us. Ideal for those seeking a 'get away from it all' holiday. Also WiFi was very hit and miss. We were well looked after by Simon the caretaker though, nothing was too much trouble.
However , comments above excepted, we enjoyed our stay ....the house suited us , spacious , well equipped etc and the location great. Simon the caretaker was a huge asset .....very friendly , helpful and informative .
Simon was very helpful and pleasant. He seemed to be working at all hours obviously very committed to his role as caretaker. The grounds were amazing and ideal for children to play safely.
The cottage was welcoming, well equipped and well furnished, and the surrounding gardens were beautiful. Simon the caretaker was always available, if needed, but was not intrusive. We had a very enjoyable holiday. Thank you.
Our stay was fantastic in the beeches at buckles day court. We will hopefully be returning September and Easter. Many thanks to the caretaker on site.
We have been going to Beeches or sometimes Blackberry most years for 14 years and always love it. The cottage is ideal, the surroundings peaceful and Simon is always helpful. We will return.
Lovely cottage, very comfortable and well-equipped. Very good location in the countryside but also close to the coast. Very easy and smooth booking process, would happily use Toad Hall Cottages again.
Excellent stay, fantastic property....even though the weather wasn't 100% all week, having such a lovely holiday house made our week! Simon was a great person to have on site, always there to help ......and seeing the Owl chicks was a real added bonus! Would love to come again! :)
We were really pleased with the accommodation probably one of the best we have been to. Simon was very helpful and a very interesting character. All very good to a good high standard.
we had hired two of of the buckland court cottages for people attending a wedding. We were extremely pleased with the location and the standard of the accommodation. Simon the caretaker was great.
We love visiting Beeches for the peace and quiet and the relaxing gardens - this is our fourth visit. It is also a bonus to have Simon on site. He always ensures our holiday runs smoothly.
This was such a peaceful and well run place. The orchards walk was a real bonus, especially with dogs and energetic children. We were so impressed with the caretaker, Simon. He was so wonderful with the children, with various activities for them to do whilst staying at the site. Just what children need.
