Court Barton No.5 is a very tastefully decorated cottage all on one level. The property has top quality modern furnishings and fittings and is well equipped throughout. It has a lovely private screened terrace area with pool and courtyard garden views.

Peacefully situated in a tiny hamlet in one of the loveliest corners of Devon between Salcombe and Thurlestone are the attractive group of converted Georgian barns that comprise Court Barton. All cottages enjoy the use of the newly refurbished outdoor (May Spring Bank Holiday to mid/end Sept (depending on weather)) and indoor (all year) heated swimming pools, games room with table tennis and table football, an all-weather tennis court, and the extensive grounds which includes two attractive courtyards, an orchard and croquet lawn. Should you wish to leave the comfort of this delightful place, less than a mile away is the beach at Thurlestone Sands, wonderful for sunbathing, swimming and watersports, with the village of Thurlestone itself a little further on with its famous links golf course. The beautiful sailing mecca of the Salcombe estuary with its golden beaches is only 3 miles.

This property is available to couples at a discounted rate in the low and mid season. Please note that when the property is let at a discounted rate for 2 people or less in the low or mid season the two bunk bedrooms and family bathroom (which contains the washing machine and tumble dryer) will be closed off.

Spacious living area with large comfortable sofa (sofabed), two armchairs, TV/DVD, log burner and dining table to seat 8. Master bedroom with super king bed with Hypnos mattress, large built in wardrobe and en suite shower room with rain shower, wall shower, basin and WC. Bedroom 2 with split level bunk beds with single beds and TV. Bedroom 3 with split level bunk beds with single beds. Family Bathroom with bath with hand held shower, separate shower cubicle with rain shower, wall shower, basin and WC. Washing machine and tumble dryer in bathroom cupboard.

Private enclosed patio with very good quality table and chairs and barbecue.

Car parking is available. Guests are asked to park one car in the lower or upper car parks. Additional cars, once unloaded, should be moved to the overflow car park.

I have ferociously high standards and this property exceeded them, the owners have thought of everything and they have filled and furnished it as though it were their full time residence. Excellent appliances, the hypnos beds and bedding are exceptional, Val and her team of housekeeping staff ensure a warm welcome and very high standards throughout. The games room and two pools were used often by our children who loved them and the location is spot on. All in all, we think this is the best self catering property we've ever stayed in. Thank you.
