23.06.17 What a beautiful cottage. So homely and beautifully designed and finished, felt like being at home. Thee was nothing missing, nothing to improve on. We were here during the mega heatwave, so spent a lot of time resting in the pretty, secluded garden waiting for things to cool down - thank goodness for the gazebo! Even sat out all evening enjoying the peace and quiet and evening bird-song. What a lovely, tranquil spot way from the buzz of the town. We loved it here. Thank you! Enjoyed walking to Dunster and back. Don’t miss Horner - lovely woodland walks by the stream, perfect for dogs, then tea rooms with WHOPPING great scones and whortleberry jam. THE BEST! Walked from Porlock Weir to Culbone Church - hidden gem - such a peaceful and isolated spot. Well worth the slog up the hill! Thank you, thank you. One of the nicest holiday cottages EVER.
01.07.17 Came to Minehead to visit our parents’ graves and old family house on the quay - first time in a while and it was such a pleasure to stay in such a ‘magical’ cottage and relax. I reminisced on old times at some old haunts and Poppy the Puggle loved every minute of it too!
02.06.18 We’ve enjoyed our week’s holiday and Court Green Cottage. The location of the property is ideal, so close to the harbour/beach, Butlins & shops/restaurants. Minehead is a very pleasant town. Court Green Cottage is a unique abode with its unusual furnishings. The cottage is very welcoming and comfortable. The garden is kept tidy and is charming to sit out in especially under the Gazebo. Valley of the Rocks at Lynton is spectacular as is the town of Lynmouth. Dogs can go on the beach in the winter and on the beach beyond the golf course in the summer and all year round at Dunster beach.
18.04.18 Lovely cottage in nice quiet area but close to beach and shops. Garden fantastic as was lovely welcome pack and fresh flowers, a welcome touch. Have had a nice chill out week. Nice places to visit - North Hill views are amazing across the channel to Wales, walk at the end of the beach by the golf course, steam railway to Watchet - a good day out, Lynmouth lovely place, Exmoor to see the wild ponies. Generally nice area and sadly our week has passed so quickly - sad to go home. Will definitely recommend to family & friends. Thank you!
21.04.18 Fantastic cottage superbly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for the week… and more! Thank you so much for the extra touches such as the welcome basket and the dog treats, these were very much appreciated. The cottage was a great base for days out - we went to Ilfracombe, Polperro, Dunster and found that there are plenty of amenities in Minehead too! For food we would recommend The Wheelhouse for evening meals and Toucan whole foods up-stairs café for a healthy lunch. For dog walks, the park, 5 mins away (out to the left of the cottage) was lovely as is the beach which is only 10 mins walk down the Avenue high street. The cottage is well-appointed and super comfortable with lovely decor and it’s been a great home-from-home that we’ll definitely recommend and return to. Thanks to the friendly neighbour too who kindly provides the very handy parking space! Many thanks for sharing your very lovely home. Sara
19.08.17 Our first visit to Somerset and what a delightful cottage to stay in, full of charm and character and a real home from home, cosy, quiet and everything we needed. Thank you for the thoughtful Wel-come Basket - the Kinder egg, choccies and doggy treat went down well with the boys! Great location to explore North Devon and West Somerset. Recommend visit to Lynton and Lyn-mouth - a must (very quaint & picturesque), fantastic drive and scenery to both here and Woolacombe beach (very busy in the height of the season but worth a visit). Dunster Castle an absolute must for all ages young and old! Great food at the local chippy round the corner (Bampton Street) and had a fantastic Thai meal at The Queen’s Head - very friendly landlady and landlord. Thank you also to the neighbour at No.2 for the parking! And thank you Mrs Wood for sharing the use of this lovely holiday home!!
12.08.17 This cottage is really cute and quirky. The outside seating and Gazebo are a blessing for the variable weather early in the season. Some lovely days out at the Tarr Steps, Dunster Castle and Watchet. The steam train is great too. Thank you for such a wonderful and thoughtful welcome pack - it was really lovely. We really enjoyed our stay!
11.08.17 The minute we stepped into this magical cottage we felt at home. The loving attention to detail made us feel very cared for! All of us slept very well here and I can proudly announce that no-one bumped their heads on the low ceilings!! :-)) During our stay we did a lot but all the girls wanted on the last day was “cuddling in the cottage.” All we ever needed was provided and we don’t really want to go home… Thank you so much for letting us stay in this magical place.
04.08.17 Lovely cottage, everything we need and much more than we expected. Thank you very much for the thoughtful welcome package. Found everything very easily as everything explained in a great info book. Weather not great but we made good use of the garden with the Gazebo. Great location for all local shops, pubs, restaurants, beach and sightseeing yet very secluded and peaceful. Fausto’s Italian restaurant very good for a last night treat. Thank you for a very lovely week.
15.07.17 Perfect location everything in easy reach. With 2 people over 6’ it was fun watching them bang their heads on the low doors (I’m evil!) Plenty of room for 4 adults and the dogs. Thank you so much for the welcome basket and the lovely, lovely cottage.
A beautiful cottage with a lovely garden in a great location for the town. Lots of extras provided and over-stocked really well with basic essentials: What was provided for us is way more than most places. What a wonderful home you have - thank you for sharing it.
This is the most amazing cottage and incredible value for money we have ever had the privilege to stay in. On arrival everything was beyond our expectations every room is unique and there are seven of them, and also the most beautiful private garden. The welcome pack is huge including all the essentials and more, plus flowers in the dining room and lounge the attention to detail is everywhere in this much loved cottage. The cottage is in a perfect location to explore Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, we managed all three within a week. We were sad to leave but we are planning a return visit very soon, thank you so much for a lovely holiday.
What did you really like at Court Green Cottage? Everything! Gazebo, garden, little lights & lamps, so well-equipped, lots of stuff in kitchen. Was it easy to find, could the directions be improved? Easy. Maybe state “Parking in front of brown garage doors." Given the age of the property, do you think the facilities were excellent? Please tell us if they fell short of your expectations and we’ll do our best to improve them. No. Excellent. Nothing fell short. Anything broken that we need to fix? No. Would you recommend us to a friend? Yes. Where did you find out about Court Green Cottage? Internet search. Toad Hall. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us; we really do appreciate them. Pam Amazing welcome pack! Thank you soooo much! Lots of places don’t even provide a pint of milk! Beyond all expectations!!

We've left your magic cottage at 9.30 today and there's a little thank you on the kitchen table. We loved our time there, I've never experienced so much love in a holiday place! Your cottage has taken our breath away, what a paradise you have created. Thank you again so much for letting us stay, we enjoyed every minute!
Property exceeded our expectations. Great service from toad hall. Well done.
Overall we were very pleased with the cottage, the location was fantastic, to have a garden was an extra bonus. It was very well stocked, we really appreciated the little things like bin bags and dish washer tablets, which so many cottages don't have and you spend your first day of your holiday doing a weekly shop. We did have small children with us, so we found the large number of nick nacks a little difficult to manage, although I appreciate they make it homely for adults! We had requested a stair gate and travel cot for our toddler, we were very disappointed with the condition of the travel cot, it smelt really musty and the side netting was badly torn (it appeared moth eaten) so we did have to go out and buy another cot on the first day as I wouldn't let me baby sleep in that. That was unfortunate, but overall we were very pleased with the cottage and would definitely return!

Many thanks for your feedback, and we are glad that you had an enjoyable stay. The owner was most aplogetic about the travel cot. Please be reassured that a new travel cot has been purchased.
