<p>The South Hams village of East Portlemouth is set on the southern side of the Kingsbridge Estuary and boasts breathtaking hilltop views, that on a clear day, extend as far as Dartmoor. The village is close to some of the region&rsquo;s most beautiful beaches and is only a short ferry trip away from the pretty fishing town of Salcombe. Over the years, the village has attracted its fair share of attention, with celebrities such as Kate Bush and Michael Parkinson joining its growing list of famous residents. <a href="/holiday-cottages/seacombe-cottage/888">Seacombe Cottage</a> is a chic and modern barn conversion on the outskirts of the village with lovely features such as its oak doors and tiled floors.
