Description

Situated in the most convenient location, just a short stroll from the sandy beach, Dorrill Cottageis a comfortable first floor apartment offering a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of life in the heart of the historic town of Looe in beautiful Cornwall. The cottage can be booked in conjunction with its next door neighbour, Quay Way Apartment, if you need to accommodate a larger group, making it a perfect choice for couples and families alike. The seaside town provides entertainment for all ages, whether you wish to relax on the sandy beach, visit quaint shops or enjoy the local live music. 

Steps up to first floor. Kitchen with electric hob, built-under oven, microwave and fridge. Living room with two-seater leather sofa (with recliner), armchair, flat screen TV, DVD player and drop leaf table to seat four. Shower room with shower cubicle, WC and basin. Double bedroom with 4ft 6in double bed (memory mattress). Bunk bedroom with 3ft single bunks.

Parking may be available in the owners private parking space close by, it is on a first come first served basis, this can be booked directly via the owner, costing £20.00 per week or £15 part week (up to 4 days). Public parking is available at the Millpool public car park, 5-10 minutes walk away (charges apply).

  • Included: Bed linen, towels (no beach towels so guests are asked to bring their own), high chair and stair gate.
  • Pets:  One well behaved dog permitted at an additional cost of £25.00 per pet, per week.
  • Electricity and heating: By key meter (£10 gratuity provided on arrival). Newly installed German “Dynamic” storage heating provided. WiFi
  • Telephone: No telephone provided. Mobile reception mixed. WiFi.
  • Local Facilities: Beach within a 5 minute walk. Other south coast beaches easily accessible by car. Shops, pubs and restaurants all in Looe (very close proximity).  Polperro 4 miles. Plymouth 21 miles. Truro 29 miles.

A convenient base for our stay. Dorrill is a comfortable, bright cottage. Arranging parking with the owner was useful and good value.

This cottage was small but amazing right in the middle of looe its lovely we throughly recommend it to families and couples even our Yorkshire terrier enjoyed it thanks for a great holiday the smiths

Its a very nice grade 2 listed cottage in a centeral location and we had an extremley pleasant week. Plenty of restaurants and cafes in close proximity and a sandy beach within 2 minuits walk. The only down side is that there is no where close to park, (8 minuits walk to nearest long stay car park), but this is the same for anywhere in Looe and many other cornish fishing villages plus the positves totally outway this. I Would definitely recomend Dorrill cottage

This was a lovely little cottage in the heart of the town, the owner Mrs Foxhall was a lovely lady, very helpful and chatty. The staff at Toad Hall were also very helpful and courteous. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Looe.

Staff at Toad Hall are very helpful and polite, would definitely recommend them to people. Dorrill Cottage, is a super little cottage, ideally located, will be using again.
