We did enjoy our stay, the cottage was perfect in size for us all. However we had not realised how busy the road adjacent to the cottage was going to be. Also we had to use the garden entrance which was quite dangerous again because of amount of traffic on that road. The pub was closer than we thought and at times very noisy althou in fairness, the cottage is well insulated. It might be advisable to warn guests about the tidal road a few miles away towards Kingsbridge. Our Sat nav sent us on that road which is obviously impassable when the tide is in and very narrow indeed. We only used it once!
We had a lovely stay. The cottage and garden were excellent. The location was great for the beach at Bigbury and nowhere was far. Handy and well stocked shop opposite. Pub good too.
We had a problem with the boiler that was fixed immediately. Very impressive.
We had a very enjoyable weekend at Little Coombe. It's very well situated close to local amenities (pub, shop and The Oyster Shack restaurant) as well as Bigbury and Bigbury golf course. We would definitely recommend.
Stayed with some friends for along weekend had a great time. House was perfect and really well furnished - near the beach and golf course. Great pub across the road and superb local shop. Will be back!
The cottage was lovely and spacious and good value for money. Shame the second log burner has not been connected.
Many thanks for your feedback, we're delighted that you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately there is no flue in the second room so the stove is for decoration only and not advertised. However the owner may consider installing a flue in the future. We look forward to welcoming you back. From the Toad Hall Team.

We really liked the character of the cottage and the location was great, the very nice pub opposite and the handy shop were a real bonus even though normally I wouldn't have chosen to be as close.
Our third time at Little Coombe, really enjoy, cottage well equipped, the shop is very useful being right next door, and well stocked. Cannot think of anything that wasn't good!
The book about Devon for children and recommendations of beaches were very helpful.
Thank you for your feedback, which we have passed to the owner and caretaker & hope that you enjoyed your stay in Devon. From the Toad Hall Team

We had a wonderful holiday at Little Coombe. It's in a fantastic location - near to beaches, a golf course, good walks and a stone's throw from a lovely village shop and pub. Perfect.
This was our first use of Toad Hall Cottages and found the staff very helpful and friendly . Cottage was very clean and well furnished
A really lovely, homely cottage. So near to the beach, a great shop and pub across the road.
My name is William Shaw and myself and my friends have just recently been staying at Little Coombe. On behalf of everyone who stayed I would just like to say a huge Thank You! We had a great time, loved the cottage and the position it was in and will no doubt come back at some point in the future! Thank you very much again. Will.
There is a lovely view and we would live here permanently if we could. We discovered the village shop over the road and it's amazing – it puts our village shop to shame.
Lovely holiday – lots of good walks for the dogs and the WiFi excellent extra bonus. Excellent food at the local pub, we would come back to the cottage again
We had a lovely week here and the weather could not have been better. The garden was fantastic and had the sun on it most of the day. We loved the beaches nearby. We would undoubtedly come back to Little Coombe and to Bigbury
Perfect spot for family with dogs (except access around back of garage/shed direct onto road. Lovely house and gardens for summer eveings Great accessibility to local shop and pub - literally yards away, just across the roads. Would go back again in a heartbeat.
