Enjoyed stay. Owner considerate and friendly.
Yes - area a bit more populated than we are used to and caught tail end of a hurricane, but chilled and rested - well at least for the first hour now that I am back at work!!
Enjoyed our stay thankyou and cottage was comfortable and served us well as a holiday stay. Area is very nice.
Lovely stay. Lovely cottage. Ideal Location. Attention to detail on behalf of the owner to the property and welcoming us. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Our stay at May cottage was very enjoyable. Great little cottage, had a nice homely feel. Plenty of hot water and very comfortable. Situation was also very good, the village had everything we needed and more. Great place to explore the New Forest
The Cottage is cosy, comfortable and convenient for both the Village Centre and a short pleasant walk to the Sea. We enjoyed being at the heart of things . For any Golfers , it is worth taking your clubs because less than 5 miles away is Barton-On Sea Golf Club which is a good Members Club who welcome visitors. They have three excellent Links Golf which will test your ability especially if the wind blows !! Peter ( The Cottage Owner ) lives right across the street is a kind and generous man who could not be more helpful if he tried. he so much enjoys people being in May Cottage.
Pete the owner was very welcoming and checked on us a couple of times during the week. However, the key fob that allowed discounts as promised was missing and we had to visit your offices in Lymington to collect one. However, the location of the cottage for us was ideal, and allowed us to overlook the general shabiness of the cottage.
We were sorry to here that the discount key fob was not available upon your arrival and hope that this did not cause too much inconvenience. May Cottage offers comfortable holiday accommodation which is good value for money. Since the annual inspection earlier this year the cottage has been undergoing refurbishment, re-investment and re decoration in the periods it is unoccupied.

The property is centrally sited in Milford with shops and pubs on the doorstep and the sea, a 10 min walk away. There is also dedicated parking. The owner is helpful and thoughtful and I enjoyed my holiday.
We had a wonderful stay at May Cottage. When we arrived the cottage was spotless, the heating was on and there were welcoming treats. Peter popped in on us to make sure we had settled in fine and to ensure we had everything we needed. The cottage was well equipped, very comfortable and the location was excellent. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you Peter! Nikki and Chris
Lovely clean and comfy cottage will definitely visit again next year
Our first family holiday with a baby, and found May Cottage a wonderful place to explore the area.
