The seafront promenade, shops, restaurants, pubs and gardens are all just a stone's throw away. A wonderful base from which couples or small families can enjoy this popular seaside town.
This holiday property is located in the heart of the unspoilt Dorset seaside town of Lyme Regis. As well as a sandy beach and seafront promenade, the town includes celebrity chef Mark Hix's superb Oyster and Seafood Restaurant, along with many other restaurants, cafes, pubs and tearooms. Lyme Regis is a wonderful location for those looking for a traditional seaside break, there are a wide selection of independent shops, as well as an award winning museum, and a small theatre. For the more adventurous the South West Coast Path heads west through the amazing Undercliff between Lyme Regis and Axmouth, or east towards Charmouth and the magnificent National Trust land at Golden Cap (please check www.southwestcoastpath.org.uk for full details before setting off on your walk). For those planning a holiday without a car, the mainline railway station in nearby Axminster is served by a regular bus service (or taxis), to and from the town.
