The owners of this charming family home located in the New Forest have converted a delightfully light and airy, spacious artist studio to form part of a self-contained, first floor holiday apartment. Formerly the studio of Victorian Artist Creswell Hartley Desmond and his sister Phoebe, who carved the Lectern in Boldre Church, designed by Creswell. The middle of the north window at the church is dedicated to them.
The studio has a log-burner stove, perfect for chilly evenings, a spacious double bedroom, children are welcome to use the outdoor toys and games available. Deer are sometimes seen in the garden which overlooks a meadow and the unspoilt upper reaches of Lymington River. Open forest and a couple of excellent local pubs are within walking distance of this welcoming bolt-hole.

Entrance into large living room with TV, DVD, stereo player, log burning stove and dining area.
Galley kitchen area with electric cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer. Use of washing machine.
Bedroom 1, king size bed (5ft), sofa bed suitable for one guest.
Bedroom 2, twin single beds (3ft), can be made in to super-king size bed (please advise at time of booking).
Bathroom with bath, shower over bath and hand basin.
Accessed by an external staircase at the rear of the property to the balcony entrance. There is a private garden area with garden furniture and gas barbecue.

Included: Bed linen and towels, electricity and central heating (gas), WiFi, cot, high chair and stair gate on request (please provide own cot bedding), small welcome pack and voucher for local store at Pilley.
Security Deposit £30 to owner on arrival.

Fantastic location, the studio suited all our needs. Roxanne was very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. My kids loved walking the apacas and horse riding she arranged for my daughter. Would definitely recommend!

The studio was perfect for our needs, very clean, homely and with everything you could need for a great time in the New Forest. We were made very welcome by Roxanne & James the owners, the little extras like the wine, cake and eggs were a pleasant surprise.
