A tiny village in South East Cornwall, a holiday in Cargreen is all about peace and quiet. With a history documented back to the 1500s and no doubt going further than that, it is famous for being the filming spot for the pub in the BBC TV series, The Coroner. The pretty waterside location on the banks of the River Tamar is around four miles from Saltash, and is ideal for walking holidays with the dog and simply taking in the sea air. The Boathouse is a beautiful example of holiday cottages in Cargreen. So close to the water it’s practically in it, the views really couldn’t get much better. It is a wonderfully romantic holiday cottage, but at the same time is ideal for group holidays in Cornwall thanks to the three bedrooms that sleep up to eight people. The Cornish holiday cottage is situated on its own quay with water on three sides and all rooms have river views, which really has to be the pinnacle of a holiday in the South West.
