1 Martel offers superb accommodation for the perfect family getaway. It has been finished to a very high standard throughout, including an ultra modern kitchen complete with breakfast bar, a large living area, four light and airy bedrooms and three highly luxurious bath/shower rooms. The open plan kitchen, dining and living space, provides a comfortable and functional room for the whole family to enjoy an evening meal, watch a film or simply relax in front of the log burner effect fire. All four bedrooms offer plenty of space and comfort for that home from home feeling.

Nestled in the heart of the Fallapit Estate just outside the village of East Allington, the property enjoys access to 18 acres of private land to explore and a peaceful seating area overlooking the lake to soak up the evening sun. The village of East Allington is home to a vibrant pub, well stocked shop and close community. Several sandy beaches, and many seaside towns and villages in the South Hams are within just a short drive away. The grounds, location, space and standard of the property will ensure an impressive and memorable family holiday to enjoy quality time together.

First floor: Master bedroom with king size bed, double height ceiling, built in wardrobe and en suite bathroom with WC, basin, bath with hand held shower and large separate walk in shower cubicle. Dorm room with two sets of bunk beds, double height ceiling, built in wardrobe, sofabed and games area with Xbox One with two controllers and two children’s gaming chairs.

Lower ground floor: Second double bedroom with double bed, built in wardrobe and TV with integrated DVD player. Twin bedroom with single beds (can be made into king size double) and built in wardrobe. Separate bathroom with WC, basin and bath with shower over.

Private decked patio area from kitchen with table and chairs. Guests are also free to explore the 18 acres of communal grounds, including a lake with a beautiful decked seating area.

Designated parking for 2 medium size cars. Plenty of nearby visitor's parking spaces also available.

The house and grounds are beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Pennywell Farm is a very good attraction, my grandsons aged 8 & 5 had a great time

We have had a brilliant holiday. The accommodation was excellent and in such a lovely location. We would certainly like to stay there again. Trips out included Lydford Gorge,Greenway House, Coleton Fishacre, Loddiswell garden centre and river walk. Totnes, Dartmouth - boat trip and Steam Train. Knightsbridge and walk in woods nearby. Had a meal at The Fortescue Arms, East Allington and were made so welcome at The Old Inn, Hallwell.

We thought Martel was really exceptional and from the moment we walked in through the front door we were impressed with the high standard of accommodation, and its unique setting, which resulted in us having a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. We look forward to a return visit and will look at other locations in your brochure. We cannot recommend the whole "Toad Hall" experience more highly.
