Gyllyngvase beach is a lovely, sandy beach. Check out the Gylly Beach Cafe for a delicious lunch.
The Maritime Museum in Falmouth is a great day out for the family.
St Michael's Mount is just a 45 minute drive. Walk across the causeway (if the tide is out!) or catch the boat across.
The wonderful Eden Project is just about an hour's drive - well worth a visit.
